Discord was pretty awesome this time around. There was a lot of unsaid skepticism about his reformation, and the seed thing is a canonical stand in for the 'back up plan' trope I see a lot in stories with Discord. I was also happy to see, yet again, canon demonstrations that alicorns aren't badass gods.

 

I guess I have to wait to watch the season 4 premier 'til tomorrow. Internet is shit and it can barely load 144p without having to buffer every 5 seconds.
