    Spike....................
Now, it is known I do not curse.
However, at such a fuckin moment, I will.
Spike, you are well beloved by many people in this forums. Over a hundred people love you. So do I. Do not ever talk like that. Life is great. You have so much to do. So what if right now life is hard?
Think about it. Many years later, you will think of this time as a long gone time, when sitting next to your (Optional) children, or wife, or TV Screen, or some one you love. You will have a job.
    So don't forget.

Oh wow, thanks for the support your guys. It's just that this is my very first suicidal panic attack that I've ever had, and I was utterly unprepared for it. But I think I'm better now. I just need to get out there, and ask a few clinics if they're accepting jobs. What should I say exactly? Should I just go:

"Hi, do you have any job openings right now?"

Spike, First off, thinking about suicide is normal. Shit happens. Lots of really bad shit some times. However, when stuff like that happens, I do want you to remember that you have friends here and I'm willing to bet that many of them would welcome you to just come to them and talk with them if you ever feel like that, self included. There's a lot more I could say, but I dont want to sound preachy or silly or anything, just wanted you to know that if you wanted to talk, we're here for you.

For job stuff, yeah, asking if they have any job opennings is a good way to find out. More professional areas will probably have job postings somewhere, but if it's a less professional place then just go in and ask to speak to whoever is in charge. Whenever you fill out an application, hand it to the person in charge and say to them "When might I be able to schedule an interview". It shows you're serious, you're determined, and you're willing to step out there and try and to work the situation in the way that you want. Employers want employees who are serious about their work. Try to find something that relates to your field if you can. If you don't have a lot of work experience that relates to your field, find ways to spin what work experience you do have to fit the job you're trying to get. If you've got the time to spare, volunteer. Volunteering shows that you give back when you can and looks good on a resume (particularly if you're looking for work in which you're working to help people or with people). If you're looking at a company and you seriously want to get a job there, do some research on the company and what they do. If you get an interview and you can show that you already know about about that particular company, that will also show your employer that you've gone above and beyond the typical applicant and have the motivation to push yourself ahead.

Back to more touchy feely stuff for a second. Something our society does wrong is that it tells us we can't cry. Fuck that. Sometimes, just letting it out and having a good cry will help clear your head a little bit and get it out of your system. Go get some privacy if you need it, but bottling up your emotions will only lead to them building even further, causing you mental stress and harm.

THIS! I can't agree more with you Ingwaz. Society tells us to do way to many things that are unhealthy and most of the time main stream thinking about many things is wrong and it proven wrong in time.

Also, exercise is actually really good for reducing stress and depression, as it naturally causes your body to release endorphins and going out and doing some exercise might help you worm through some stress in the form of anger release.

Huh. Good advice there. Again, this is my first time feeling like what I was feelings, so I didn't know what to do. I should talk to you again when I feel this way.

Also, I need to talk to some managers about job recruitment. I'm not the most confident person out there, but I should still be able to deliver a resume.

And yes, I will cry when I have to, although tears don't come to me right now.
It's strange how I feel the most depressed right after I've rode 5 miles, uphill, on my bike home, only to be criticized by my mom about job search. I'll have to do this again today. And again. And again.

So long as you're trying to find something and you're actually working at it, your mom probably needs to be more understanding. I would recommend talking with her, but I don't know what your mom is like, so I can't really say whether it not that would help.

A resume is important, but so is confidence. You're smart and you're willing to work hard, what reason do they have not to hire you? If you can come up with one, work to fix it and believe in yourself and your abilities.
