If you're honestly looking to get into flash, I'd say just go with Adobe Flash. It's the most commonly used program and it works quite well.

Oh, I used to participate in flash animation competitions, representing my school. Got a key for the computer rooms and everything. Ask me if you need a hand.

 

I can draw albeit not as good. They aren't DeviantART quality but it's flash worthy I guess.

Uhh. Maybe lip syncing. I heard that's hard. I'll just play around with it first.

 

I got Flash Professional, it's fun... but it takes a lot of time and it's pretty much pointless if you can't draw/don't have the tools to draw on a computer
Aye, lip syncing sucks.

 

Here's a tip. Set the audio files to "stream" instead of "event" after embedding it into a frame, so it pauses whenever you stop playback/previewing.
