So I killed the Destroyer today, at last. I used the Golden Shower almost exclusively, which was surprising since I only intended to side it for the ichor debuff. I didn't even have a magic setup to support it! It's probably going to be the best spell in the game, at least for PvP (since Magnet Sphere doesn't target other players). Now my next stop is to mine tons of Cholorphyte and get Turtle Armor, along with Shroomite and Chlorophyte armor. But I get wrecked in the jungle. Anyone have any advice?

Also, there's a cheesy way to kill the dungeon guardian: equip the Blackbelt, along with Turtle Armor. The Blackbelt's effect will eventually save you from the guardian's first strike, while the Turtle Armor will return roughly half its HP. The second hit will kill you AND it, so you get its key.

Rangers aren't immortal, and the DPS thing is debatable at this point. But it's still probably right. It sucks that the best gun you can get, you can only get by cheating at this time (I think).

Is there still any need to put stuff in spoilers? Well, I don't think so, but I better be sure...

I haven't got opportunity to find and test the new magics you're talking about... but I doubt there is any better thing at killing worm-like enemies than Magic Harp... With it, you can solo Destroyer anytime you'd like.

New Zealander here wishing the 3DS and it's games weren't so expensive. Also, at our local JB Hifi the pricing for 3DS games is messed up. Black 2 and White 2 cheaper than Black and White, which are all more expensive than most of the new AAA games in the store.
