Would they give the shiny new type to a starter? They didn't for Dark and Steel, anyways. It probably will be Psychic, just like Victini.

I actually and starting to like Chespin. Maybe I'm just desperate for a likeable starter, but the knight angle gives me hope.

Considering this is the first game to change perspective in over a decade, I'd say anythings possible.
