Also sorry to ask again but I really wanted a suggestion, anyone have a tip for desktop recording software, I dont need any thing fancy just enough to capture a program in action.

Cosplaying Chihiro would be so much fun. Actually there are a lot of DR characters who would be a blast to cosplay.

And I agree I wish he had more screen time. And his story made me so sad. ;~;

Probably the most used program for recording your desktop is FRAPS... you could also use Bandicam, those two have quite a few differences, so you'd better check them both out. The problem is, that FRAPS requires purchase to be useful (37 USD), because it only allows 10 seconds of recording when unregistered. Bandicam on the other hand will allow you to record for up to 10 minutes, but will display bandicam.com watermark when not using paid version. Bandicam costs 39 USD, both licences are life-time, as long as you follow license policy.

Bandicam uses much less CPU and GPU while recording when compared to FRAPS. Also doesn't uses up much of HDD space thanks to recording . They are both able to record sounds from your computer, FRAPS can also record microphone (I'm not sure whether Bandicam can record microphone as well).

But for recoding sounds, you could always use Audacity. This clever little GNU program can record both Stereo Mix (sounds from your PC), as well as microphone. It also features powerful sound editation tools, allowing you to combine audio tracks and edit them anyway you'd like and then export them into, for example, .wav (for exporting into .mp3 there needs to be LAME encoder nstalled on your computer). This way you'd encounter only one problem, that is you'd therefore have to edit the recorded video and sound together in another computer program. But I think Windows Movie Maker for Win7 can hadle it for basic purposes.
