Bartwe's Stream and the Mysterious Anchor

Two not very important and low-quality screenshots... But this third one is mysterious.

Edit: Tiy says the anchor belongs to an Avian airship.

 

I think the last one is a reference to spongebob...

 

Ive seen that anchor in a screenshot before but what is it?

 

There was a stream with one of those anchors in it a while ago that Tiy climbed up (well, built blocks up to)
There's a ship above it.
Presumably with space pirates on it.

I was hoping the anchor was part of your space ship.

 

I'm fairly sure Tiy once explained that anchors are connected to spaceships.

 

That can't be the anchor of your spaceship, imagine how many kilometers of chains you would need...

Also, that second screen shot really reminds me of Metroid II for some reason.

It's probably just the color of the caves and those mysterious background walls.
So mysterious. Wait, is that a moon?

 

I was talking about the temperature, -27C is pretty cold.

'its probably an anchor to a flying ship, most likely the same as floating island's in terrhurridurr.

 

That's actually an interesting theory; maybe there's some sort of space pirate ship orbiting the planet, which you can board and raid?

 

probably, but i doubt they will fly around tho, the anchor is probably there so you can spot it easier.

 

Looking for those flying island in Terraria was time consuming. I guess this was the reason for the anchor. Great idea actually.

 

This just in, the anchor belongs to an Avian Airship! Confirmed by the god Tiy himself.

 

Yeah, the ship probably wouldn't move at all. You could just use the anchor to climb up.
