Barn and Coop Autofeeder not working?

On Mac on OS X Yosemite.

Just had Steam do an auto update ten minutes ago for Stardew alright and I go into my barn and coop which are fully upgraded now and I had to put feed in.

-No, I did not run out of feed
-And my animals did eat outside so none should have eaten it.

 

This is extremely unlikely to be a bug that is unique to the mac/linux ports.

- Does it keep happening or was it a one-off?
- Was it both your barn and coop, or just one?
- Had you just upgraded your barn / coop?
- How many animals do you keep in there?
- Do you have other barns/coops?

 

I have not had it happen again (need to lock my animals in all day to see if it happens but apparently the game hates me and decides i don't deserve rain)
It was both my barn and coop, not all the food was gone but some.
Both had been upgraded for a while in-game (about 2 in-game months) and it hadn’t happened until now.
The coop has 6 animals and the barn has 3.
I have no other barns/coops on my farm.

 

I think I've managed to reproduce this in the Windows build, so it's unrelated to the Mac/Linux ports.

It seems like the amount of food missing is essentially random. It's in our bug tracker now. Thanks for reporting it.
