So, I was messing around with my friends in their server, and found an ukulele for myself. After playing Canon in D so many times that we all knew by heart, I just went and added something like 40 more songs. Now, when we group up, that's ALL I EVER DO. I walk around while they fight, choosing song after song to fit the moment. Fighting? Final Fantasy battle theme. Someone died? One of the many sad songs. Loot? Fanfare And that had me wondering. What if there was a tech that allowed your music to actually have an impact? Something that would basically make you a kind of Bard in a way. Based on the song BPM, tone and whatever, the game could say "Ok, this will give people jump boost as long as they can hear it." Or heck, an even stronger tech that would make some songs into actual weapons Imagine literally killing bosses with Dragonforce. Whadd'ya guys all think? -Posted on the behalf of user ZeroPositivo, all credit goes to him-
Thanks, my brain just exploded. That's what I get for trying to imagine the hardest metal known to man.
This actually sounds kind of cool. I don't think it should do damage, however. But buffs would be pretty neat.
Yep. I finally managed to get this account working (yay for confirmation emails) I was the friend my dear pal Quill was mentioning Y'know, just bringing this one back on the attention, since there seems to be a fair amount of people on the subreddit posting about it every once in a while
