I've played a good portion of them. I like your art but it's not that stylistically similar to stuff we've seen in this genre before.

I remember around the first week that Stardew was released there was someone trying to track you down because they found your Sebastian portraits on 4chan, it's awesome to see the rest of the NPC portraits to match too! I won't be using these simply because they're not my preference in a game like this, but I just still felt compelled to make a comment after seeing these around so many times now, they really are amazingly made and top quality, if Stardew Valley weren't the type of game it is for me I would definitely be using these over anything else simply because of the amazingly hilarious expressions, dear god did I laugh when I saw the Wizard's face and some of the other NPC expressions they're just so good on so many levels, good jerb! Two thumbs up!

I'm gonna guess the style just isn't to peoples' tastes, but I love this. Honestly the bachelor/ettes remind me a lot of the look of old HM bachelor/ettes. They always looked super young - just part of the style.

It's cute and the art quality is excellent!

Oh? Do share! I think I'm looking for one that catches that particular softness that some old ladies have, the smooth thin droopy skin-- something like Eda from Story of Seasons. But I'll keep searching-- there are so many people making portraits that I'm sure I'll eventually find one to my taste. You've made my favorite Maru by far, and at first I thought the guys looked way too young, but then I realized that Alex is absolutely perfect-- I like him so much more when I imagine him as very boyish. The bravado makes more sense and I don't judge him as harshly. The missing tooth makes me smile every time.

 

Yeah. What motivated me was that all these characters were like in arrested development. Their personalities and such only made sense to me with them younger and their flaws less glaring. Otherwise they are a bunch of useless idiots. (no offense)
