That Big Bang Theory Reference

 

The community is calm 'n' cool, it's a pleasure to read posts here. Sometimes however things go to hell. 10% of the time, that's only happened on a huge scale to memory when they introduced pets.

 

You see, this is the kind of thing my post was all about this type of interaction where everyone is like just chillaxing and talking about stuff even recognizing that there are some bad apples in the bunch but instead of complaining about it is more like "yea they are there but we aren't letting them ruin it for the rest of us" that kind of attitude is priceless in any gaming community that strives to improve and grow.

I am not truly the awesome space ship just honoring it. Hopefully serenity is out there some where in the starbound universe. I will probably make a character with that name lol or if you can name your ship name it that.

YES! This is by far, the greatest community on the internet, especially due to our lack of hyperbole. Also, we are the only people who can spel.

 

Yeah from the threads I've seen arguments usually are played out in a mature fashion which is great, I remember the first forums I was involved in was newgrounds (like middle school/high school) and that is not the best environment.

Things would happen..

Thanks, in part, to the moderation team's rapid response to trolls.
And surprisingly, everyone here is pretty nice to talk to. There aren't as many trolls or douchebags as I thought there would.

 

When a community is small it is easy to be nice but when it grows...
When Starbound grows and becomes more popular there will be more people in the community and we will have a worse people as other communities

 

But i think the Starbound community has started nice, i think it will stay that way. But we will see, even if we get way more D-bags in, I think the community has shown that we can just ignore them.

Trolls are one problem, but also self righteous people that can't refuse to ignore stupid rants and feel the need to "convert a troll" is almost worse. They feed them.
