WIP Avian Ship - Stargateified

So, as i found it boring that all starter ships are basically the same, besides the backskin, i decided to make my own Versions of the ships, with some more unique shapes.

First one i started with is the Avian Ship. Since it has Mayan and Aegyptian influences, i thought a more Pyramid like Form would fit it.

I am thinking about placing the Access Shaft into the middle of the ship. What do you think :

 

That looks great! The fueling cabinet looks a bit awkward though, as you can't place a door to close it or anything at all really. I'd place fueling and techs near the cockpit, place the access point in the middle, and leave the second level for housing.
