Avian Intro (WIP)

I think the game needs more time to be completed, so more wait is better for the game feature-wise.

To each their own I suppose. I'm personally satisfied with this very brief ending, and I am willing to leave the rest of the lore to in-game discoveries.

 

I like this intro too, I will be happy if any race have their own story.

 

I like it, but I'm just wondering where the Avians' primitive tribal-style went, or to find out whether that's a social development that happens after the intro, or maybe not even on every Avian world or something.

 

um they still have there primitive style, they have only incorporated the technology that was given to them into their gear and weapons.

 

I'm actually unhappy with the wording. A little too much exposition and trying to fit too much in.

this one, im glad is still a WIP because to me, its just...meh i mean the skip between "Kluex must be appeased" and "To denounce your god means exile" seems very abrupt and could use something that links them

 

Why do the dev update posts get re-posted by users? Are you that attention starved?

 

In this thread we make the actual talk about the intro, the other is too full of "thank yous" and "good jobs" to get anything discussed.

Actually I din't think because girl died, I believe that he was banished because of the feathers, and then she died while they were fleeing from the planet.

 

Why has NO ONE mentioned the fact that we see an Avian baby in the intro?! THINK OF THE BABIES!!! Q_Q

... but yeah, I rather liked it! Some people have criticized the art style as looking 'juvenile', but I actually like the stylized nature of the characters. It's nostalgic to me somehow.

 

I feel the same nostalgic effect from the art style , like nes/snes games intro.

 

Actually, now that you mention it, they kinda have an Earthbound feel to them, don't they? The looseness of the designs and the (sometimes) simple colors.

 

It's not too important what it looks like really, the art work is well done, what more do we need?
