Yeah, I think giving avali access to auto turrets equipped with hunting rifles is a recipe for one fat raptor, sooooo much meat.


I might start posting screenshots somewhere of the chubby fluffball's adventures, expect many missed jumps, lots of comedic fails, and A course on cooking most sweets in Starbound.

 

Should I try patching in more support for avail tenants?

Second, I think I'm going to leave the jet boots a tech and start two new projects.
Avali built turret, and a mining laser that doubles as a functional weapon.

My guess would be modding activity in general is slowing down in anticipation for the upcoming Starbound update, which sounds like it'll be mixing things up yet again.

With announcement of those new 'dark' worlds, I'm kinda holding out myself.

 

you guys might be in a world of pain when the new major update comes out for starbound since they are leading up to the giant thing that destroyed earth and lots of new things might be added. as well get ready to make some codex so it helps our race to be integrated into the game better as well can you add more codex explaining our race! i think i got some lying around which you can improve on(i get board very quickly)

 

We are almost always in a major world of pain when any update happens. Also, I would like to read your codex(s) they might be interesting.

 

The moment the update comes, im decompiling the assets and doing a github style revision check, and I'll report exactly what changed.

 

Aaaaaaaand when will this update be released? Probably in a couple months. Trust me, interested mod developers have plenty of time.

 

this is the only one i had on my main computer but i dont care what you do with it you can add it in the game change it do what ever you want with it because it yours and i also wanted to give history and more of a meaning for our race in game and explain on a much simpler so people don't have to look up and read the wiki but if you like the avali then you should read the wiki ps make sure you change it and if you like it i can make more but put some work into it since school holidays as well i put the codex in the txt file since i don't know you have Microsoft word or not

i also put in in a view like he is talking to a PDA since i don't think the avali write stuff down since they use stuff like this--and a am very loyal to the avali so i would do anything you want to help the mod out

I doubt this mod is about unlocking all the codexes. You could just cheat them in, you know.

 

He's saying he wrote draft racial codexes and he wants them implemented into the mod.

 

no i want codex so people better understand the game (and someting to read ingame) but i dont want to cheat

 

I haven't seen anyone else post this issue, so it may be unique to my install, but for some reason Avali building blocks are layering improperly, specifically the soft tapestry is on the middle layer instead of the top layer, nanofiber poles are layering on top instead of the back, and support blocks are layering on top instead of the back. This is on 64 bit open GL, windows 7.
