    I'm getting a crash error upon startup now:

    Error loading asset /items/tools/utility lights/avaliutilitylight1.flashlight

    Started up and worked just fine after I went in and cut the Utility Light files out of the Items and Recipes folders entirely, so yeah, flashlights are borked.

    No, FU changed where they stored Graphene to match where Avali stores it. Now, one mod will simply overwrite the other mod's graphene with no issues.

    The Avali Compound bows show up as PGI due to (I believe) missing projectiles. I downloaded the original mod and took the files from its 'projectile' folder and copied them over to the Avali mod. They show up as normal now.

    This is another great way to report bugs, figure it out on your own. I'm not saying everyone should, but it's a lot more helpful when we don't have to hunt down the issue and figure out how to fix it ourselves. It also allows us to get the fix out faster.

    Edit: Only took this long because I was trying to fix the inset lights constantly pointing right. No dice, I've tossed it to the team to work on.

    I see you "officially" merged my mod in now - cool! :]
    Would be nice if you would update the OP though as my mod is still only listed under "addons" or whatever - may wanna remove it from there, as Starbound mods "dislike" redundancies (it put it lightly lol).

    Also, feel free to rebalance them... They were quite a bit unbalanced BEFORE the "Giraffe" update that broke the mod, and I was never really sure how to balance them correctly. After the update came out, I had lost interest in playing Starbound somewhat and kind of just fixed the mod's CTD issues, while ignore that the damage and energy amounts were quite honestly even more unbalanced now...
    My original vision was for it to be a "power shot" kind of thing - lots of damage, but a very high energy cost.
    I am also not 100% sure if my "fix" that stopped the projectiles from doing bock damage still works post-Giraffe, so you may wanna check that, too...

    Additionally, if villages are working again (I stopped checking, sorry), you can re-add the the "Avali Data Chit" back in for the top two tier recipes if you want. I thought the OP ones should be a bit harder to make lol, and those data chits were easily exploited anyways - the Avali Lockers ALWAYS had one in them, so all you had to do was remove the locker and replace it to dupe em infinitely lol...
    I just used "strikethrough" on my mod page for the original recipe edits, so you can still check em there.

    I didn't look at the files yet, but did you add the "rack furniture" display versions too? Those almost took me longer to make than the freaking bow did what with how many frames the animations had! :]

    Also, @acidrica: I did add in custom projectiles for the bow (with a new sprite I made), so odds are they forgot those, and the .json files for the "arrow" were pointing to a missing projectile! :]

    Your entire mod, more or less, has been merged with the base mod. As for balancing, we're going to get around to that... eventually. Right now we're focusing on fixing the easy/critical stuff. The game is still entirely playable if all the weapons are unbalanced, and there's so many weapons to work on that attempting to balance them all is a hefty chore.

    As for the locker bug, that's been snuffed out. There was some "KeepParametersInItem" tag that made it so that picking up a village-spawned locker and placing it again made the game re-get stuff from the pool of items for that container. That tag has been removed, and no longer do the lockers spawn a new chit with every place.

    I may indeed add in those data chits back to the recipes.

    Heh, I just have an intense need to find out the cause of any of the 'perfectly generic uuuuugh' that sometimes happens. I also uh, -think- I found something else? The avali flag has an older recipe, as opposed to the core races, whose cost is 20 fabric and 1 copper bar. Also, I couldn't find the recipe in game. I tried to figure out how to make it show up in the base crafting menu, but no dice. Tried to make it show up in 3d printing by defaul, but that didn't work. I ended up looking at other recipes and where they pointed and changed the 'groups' to objects, avalilanthe, all, and then put the recipe in the B objects folder under lanthe. That worked for some strange reason. The loom probably would have fit better though.

    I'm trying to get familiar with how the files work and how to troubleshoot them so I can start making mods myself. I can do pixel art no problem, I just have no idea how modding works (most guides seem outdated). So...trail and error till it's more familiar. xD

    Speaking of, do you know if people are still allowed to make addons for the avali? I saw the original author granted permission to modify assets and such, but I just want to make sure. I have a great need to make some vanity clothing and maybe a pet or something.

    If you were to make a vanity clothing and/or pet mod, it would almost certainly be universally encouraged. With Catalina Industries effectively dead and buried, there's certainly a void in that field that could use filling.

    The wiki doesn't have anything for pets so far as I know, but as far as vanity clothing is concerned, as just a tentative suggestion, how about some armored sleeves to match the existing helmets and armor? RyuujinZERO's clothing concept art has them but they've been distinctly lacking in the mod thus far and appearance-wise the armor always looks a little incomplete without them.

    Hmm, I did find some information on drones. Just ignore the food bowl and I could potentially sprite an avali themed maintenance drone, with the 'pet house' being reskinned as a sort of 'dock'.

    For the sleeves, do you mean this picture? Or this? Seems doable. Just need to find a tutorial or something for clothing mods.

    Eh, you could just argue that the drone has a sort of omnifuel battery that can run on food, or something like that, which is certainly within the Avali's technological capability. It could also be said to have glitched AI that makes the drone think its a dog or something. Could work that into the intro like "Ship's busted, out of fuel, I don't know where I am, and to top it all off my maintenance drone is barking. Happy fun times."

    Pretty much spot on with the sleeves, though the this was what I was thinking of in particular, as that seemed like what the armor sprites were originally based on.
