RELEASED Avali (Triage) 1.11.0

I added a little something over on Github - made it for me and then thought, I'm sure someone else must have wanted this at some point? So why not.

 

Hey there nice work on the Avali mod, very nice to see you guys keeping this Mod alive. Now I remember having a -lot- more content some time ago and just now remembered that it was an addon to this Mod called "Catalina Industries Incorporated Official 3D Printer (TM)". Would it be possible to incorporate the items in this mod, it brings a lot of extra content that I think would help players furnish more of their homes and stylize characters as well.

I checked the last time this was updated, it showed it was at March 15 2014

 

It cannot be updated by us because of the permissions the mod's owner set. Whereas we got @Quilavabom and @Icebelly to give permission to update their add-on, we cannot officially release an update to Catalina Industries because the author cannot be reached.

 

That's a damn shame, it brought quite a bit to the Avali.

 

I have maaaany Fun with this mod that I reply starbound recently.
This mod has so many contents to discover, and so many things surprise me.
But I'm a little disappointed with the design of ship......
Too simple in my opinion, after looking the original races's ship and those upgrade.
So I made this in the past few days, here are some image about:



I want to post this in this forum, I'm here to seek your consent.
Or incorporating this in this mod will be OK.

I was going to suggest just using the Logistics Frigate (as I am of a similar opinion of the current Avali ship tiers), but then the image loaded and I scrolled down…

Give me a link and I’ll download the **** out of that!

My only question is whether the terminals (research station, tech station, etc.) would be movable, as that is a much appreciated feature in the Logistic Frigate, and if some of the more rounded rooms could be squared out just a tad.

I don't know how the Aeroponics tubes are supposed to work. I supposedly have the latest version but my crops never grow. I had to crack the glass with a hoe to plant crops, they have light, but they never grow. Am doing wrong?!

 

I based the Avali's upgraded tier ships to be similar to the original ship that RyuujinZero had created.This ship looks very good, but I highly recommend making this an add-on mod so everyone wouldn't have to make a new character just to obtain this ship.

 

If that ship becomes a thing, I'll download it. Good spritework there.
As a suggestion, the Avali do have ship tiles (beam, support, wall). Might want to try using those as the wall materials.

Ship looks good, though I feel the interior looks more like an overlay rather than being inside the ship. The rooms have no real definition like other ships.

Thats just me. Still great work either way.

It looks great, I'm just very wary of those giant aerogel-looking fins! x)

 

Amazing. With a bit of tweaking (the aerogel wings are too flat IMHO), this could become the actual ship.

 

Hey, has anyone else had problems with the Avali merchants "selling" Perfectly Generic Items for zero pixels, which can't actually be bought?

 

I've had this issue with when they have food/farming stuff for sale - zero pixels, can't buy them at all, and there may have been a PGI in there as well, I think.

Also, that ship design tho. I'd just love to see a download for it.

 

The highest tier seems to be the shape of Africa. Or South America.
