    Actually this seems more like an improper flag set on the locker itself. I'll look into it.
    EDIT: Alright, I changed something, not sure if it's the right thing. If the issue persists next week, I've no clue what else I can do.

    Sure, just head to the github!
    EDIT: And the entire character creation thing is randomized when you select the race. Not a bug.

    Okay, I will start actually creating the bloody things then... xD Every time I want to create the shields I get busy in Starbound or I get confused on how to actually make the bloody things and I just stop. I will try again to create the shields though soon.

    Also, I found out going back onto that stance bug, it was just me being a fool as it seems like I wasn't fully paying attention to my stance in character creation. I was able to correct it through other means though so all is good.

    Also, there seems to be a weird bug where they Avali merchants do not work because they will say "Let me take you to my store before I can sell to you" and then so I follow him and then enter the store and then he immediately says "Pleasure doing business with you" (I know these quotes are not exact, sorry.) and that is it. All of the other merchants work 100% BUT the avali. I have no mods that would ever be able to conflict with that so I don't know...

    Oh hey the recent update messed with the quest format under the conditions section; I haven't figured it out fully but If you look at the currently unpacked assets/quests would probably be a good start.

    It was, in fact, the right thing. Avali Footlocker items no longer respawn after placing them back down. However, I also noticed that Avali merchants won't actually sell me anything. No menu pops up.

    Hmm, with Starbound having more missions for each of its canon races in the works, along with Ryuujin having thoughts to give the Avali wiki an overhaul sometime whenever (including the new addition of apparently-spoilerific details), is it possible that this mod will someday feature its own Avali mission(s)/quests, or that they would be featured in an addon mod to this one? The codex entry at the game's start which gives context to the Avali protagonist being alone on a broken ship pretty much sets up the basis for such a questline - and a race mod as extensive as this practically begs to have one.

    Something that complex will obviously need the whole group of contributors to work together on it, though.

    Regular "npc spawners" were outphased by the colony/tenant system in the official game, but I think it's still present here (yet). The object name is "spawneravali".

    There are advantages and disadvantages to both the spawners and colony systems, so I really hope that neither will be "phased out".

    Will look into it.

    It's a possibility, if one of the team decides they want to do it. As it is, it may not be likely until Starbound reaches a more stable point (At which Ryuujin may come back and take over the mod once more)
    With so many changes being made to the quest files and how they're read and what tags we need for it all, the more quests we have the more work is needed to bring the mod back into working order.

    My main role in the mod boils down to bugfixing, typo fixing, rebalancing, etc., along with being the 'face' of the team (Which, I might add, anyone is free to join by heading to the github.)[DOUBLEPOST=1441320429][/DOUBLEPOST]
    As long as the code for the spawners exists in the game, the Avali Spawners will remain. I may try to find somewhere else to put them for crafting purposes, though.

    Thank you for your reply.
    I have found the Avali spawner item in the mod files which is craft at the Employers Station.
    With the Creative mod, I can still spawn this employer station and get the spawner.

    I am currently looking into "Avali : augments and assortments".
    It's partially out date. The crafting stations such as laser cutter and assembling table will crash game if interacted.
    I have looked in to some simple mod coding in the past few days..
    The code from the object file looks really similar, but in different oriantation
    Don't know how much changes have been made between versions, but I will give it a shot.


    Edit : It seems that there are more than one file involved in this problem and I can't get it fixed.

    I was wondering about the Avali Aeroponics Tubes now that watering crops has become a thing. Do crops need to be watered if planted on them? I've tried watering the tubes after I've tilled them with the hoe but they don't change color like the dirt does. I've just made an entire garden from Aeroponics tubes and I haven't noticed any kind of growth as of yet

    Current version of the mod does not have watered aeroponics yet. The dev version (Due to be released today actually) does, though.

    Edit: Basic QA begun, 8:25 AM. No startup crashes.
    Tested Aeroponics, realized it wasn't actually tilling to the 'unwatered' version first. Fixed, relaunching.
    Blagh. Crashed when I tried to till it. Looking into this...

    Edit: Wow, 49 minutes of headscratching and it turns out that the avalitilleddry.matmod wasn't actually a .matmod, but instead was "avalitilleddry.matmod.txt"
    Fixed, now tilling the aeroponics tubes isn't causing it to crash.

    Merchants are being looked into, but still are not working. Maybe next week.

    Heyho!

    I don't know if someone already reported this, but:

    Avali doors and lights are missing tags ("door" and "light"). Without these, they are not recognized as actual door, when the colony deeds are scanning for suitable homes. This is nothing big, but you may like to fix this in a future update :)

    Good news, bad news: Avali merchants are working!
    Bad news: Only NEW merchants spawned are working. Already existing merchants are still going to be broken.

    Is there any documentation on this mod? I'm trying to find out why the broken hero is the most powerful sword in the game at this time.

    No documentation because there's no actual scripting to document. Just a buncha json files and pngs.
    That said, weapon rebalancing is coming. Eventually. Once all the kinks are worked out and the mod runs smoothly.
