my version seems to be working fine, im just using xbawks in terms of know compatables
on another note, you may want to update the armour perks ASAP, as my impervium hammer is doing 50 and only 50 damage to the tier 10 mobs.

Your log's got what I needed. No clue why Starbound sometimes does verbose logging and sometimes does almost no logging (Like Flarezerker's log, it just has the single line about the crash)[DOUBLEPOST=1440641085][/DOUBLEPOST]

Weapon rebalancing is coming tomorrow. Today was just "Make it playable again".

EDIT: Just remembered this, not an issue, but an idea. On the wiki, it said that avali blades regenerated once they break, sharper and stronger. I wanted to know how that might work, reasonably. I was thinking, maybe in return for decreasing the damage dealt per hit, each consecutive hit would deal more and more damage. Just a concept, and I dont know what Ryuujin thinks about it yet, but I did send him a PM for what its worth now.

 

If this thread ever gets that far, I think I'd faint.

No, but we will eventually need to figure out npc changes.

 

so, finally installed the update and i may have figured out the invincible character glitch. it seems my char IS taking damage, just very, very little of it- a large monster was doing 5 damage to me, when she has 142 health and 91 defense... would this also explain why fall damage end environmental damage still seem to be working? so the "invincibility" glitch may just fall into the "weapon and armor re balancing" thing

edit: nevermind, some monsters seem to hurt still, just definitely not as much. weird.

 

Hmm, the first major quest where you have to go to a moon to save the mining facility won't trigger even with the full set of steel armor inserts.

 

Alright, I'm up.
Actual progression seems to be more important than rebalancing (And also require less work) so I'll see what I can do about the inserts not triggering the quest.

EDIT: Chucklefish changed how armor types were detected. How'd they change it?
Before; "triggerKeys" : [ "tier5armor" ],
After: "questTags" : [ "tier5armor" ],

Another step towards friendly names for everything. On to rebalancing! Yay.....

Here's your problem, why you aren't taking much damage.
Avali Impervium armor's protection value: 175
Vanilla (Apex) impervium armor PV: 40

Alrighty then. Well, unless someone has a better idea, Avali armor will just get the matching Apex values copypasted in.
