I'm having the same issue, actually. Which is odd, because it worked just fine most of the day, yesterday, until the late evening. And no, I'm not using the "Frackin' Universe" mod. I'll see about getting a crash log posted here in a minute, but for now I'll explain exactly what's happening. So, when I installed this mod I went ahead and deleted my universe file to start fresh with a blank canvas. Made a new Avali character, and set to work getting things going on the starting planet. I managed to play all day yesterday until the evening and got my starting base up and running without any issues. Then suddenly -- without warning -- my game crashes to the desktop. I try to log back into the same character, and again it crashes to the desktop. So, figuring I'd cut my losses, I decided to make a new Avali character and delete the one stuck in the crash-loop. Everything worked just fine... Until I approached the site of my camp. Then, bam, the game crashes again. I try to log into that character, but the game crashes continually just like with the last one. Just to be sure, I loaded up a new character that wasn't an Avali, and ran to the starter planet. Same exact issue: the game crashed when I approached my camp. Checking to be sure that it didn't have anything to do any other mods, I went ahead and pulled all of my mods out of the mod file and put them in a folder on the desktop except for the Avali mod, which I left in the mod folder. I made a third new character, again not an Avali and again everything worked fine... Until I approached my Avali construction. Then the game crashed to the desktop again. Trying to log into the character like before, and again the game crashes before it can finish loading up. Additionally, for an added measure, I loaded up one of my old characters who was on a different planet in a different system that didn't have any Avali items. I ran around the surface of the planet for every bit of fifteen minutes and had absolutely no problem whatsoever.
