Recipe bugs don't show up in the log, no.
The tier 5/6 armor sets unlock when you craft the previous sets (Durasteel is T4, I believe, and so will unlock the tier 5 armor sets. Then you craft the t5 armor sets and unlock that table's t6.)

Mind telling me which recipes are showing with a PGI in them?

 

How to change to the other ship?

 

Hi everyone, sorry to bother;
I just started playing Starbound a short time ago, and while I normaly refuse to use non-vanilla races in any game, these cute Avalis became my first exception ever. Wonderful mod you got there.

But I got a small problem, I just can't find how to change the ship to its alternate version. I looked everywhere in the files, and there just aren't any instructions about it (the readme doesn't say anything about the ship)
Will any of you good people be kind enough to explain me?

As khaotil mentioned,
there is only one README.md file in avali folder and it doesn't mention anything about ships.
Are we missing something?

EDIT: So we really are missing something. After a bit of poking, the readme does not exist in versions above 2.40. I had to download 2.4 just to find the readme.
In the latest version, there is also only one 'universe_server.config.patch' which points to the default ship.
I had to make a duplicate and edited to point it to the new ship.
Problem solved!

If anyone's interested, I remade the Avali AI and tech station to be a bit more in line with the style of the stock races' AI. It slots right into the main mod's folders as a replacement.

Only problem is that the Unique Emote doesn't animate properly when starting a game, but the mod's regular AI has that problem as well, so I'm not sure what can be done about it.

Hey, I have a problem with 3d printer(Nanoloathe on basic crafting screen), seems it's broken. Nanoloom works prefect but when i put 3d printer on map it has no recipes in it. Am I doing something wrong?

 

I'm so glad this mod is still alive. I was wondering if Avali villages and towns are in? All I've found so far are small Avali outposts with like, 3 people in it.

 

Just found a big village of avali on a snow/crystal/ice planet hope this helps.


Also - I've been away for so long, I've noticed there are avali elevators now, how do you make em work?

 

Hey, loving this mod was thinking i'd put across some ideas: Pets could be dodos or robot dodos, there could be a story about how the avali are descended from earths dinosaurs and were moved around like the t-rex's apparently were, this could be in codexes and stuff and i was wondering if the crafting stations like the nanoloom and the other ones will always be crafted with pixels, cos i think it would work better if you had to craft all the things that are made with pixels with proper recipes instead. Wasn't sure if this was the best place to post ideas, but it seemed to be

 

Avalis already have a pretty big lore, including their origins.

Not in-game, but what I meant was that what you suggested in terms of story (dinosaurs and such) doesn't fits the already existing lore.

 

ahh okay im knew to them so i didnt know there was lore, i hope they add it into the mod then, dodo pets are a good idea though was thinking the respawn animation could just be hatching like the avians, probs makes the most sense right?

 

Again, given lore, probably. Could also be a machine fixin' 'em up like new or something.

 

Respawn animation is a HUGE file with more frames than any other file in the mod. Chances of us working on it anytime soon are slim to none, especially considering that players can just skip it.
