There's no pictures of what the Avali even look like on this mod.

 

Most of the screenshots are back in the old original mod, which is stated right in the mod overview, along with a link.

 

like this still my top fav race mod on here, wish it was available in other games as well.

Of course. You can also look up Avali on google for both the official Wiki page, which goes into full detail on the race and their background, and artwork done by various artists of the race on Images! Most are really well done and can give you a full idea of what they're like.

Was Ryuujin himself behind that or was it someone else that ported them over?

I'm rather uninformed, what exactly happened to him for him to stop working on the mod?

 

Well since I heard it directly from him here you go.

Basically he didn't like how much starbound constrained his creativity down to 2d pixelated sprites. If you've seen what he's done in space engineers you would see he is extremely talented. (Don't quote me on the next part)He also thought some members of the community were trying to squeeze in on the project and further strain him, I think... I mean he still has me blocked on steam thinking I'm an annoying sycophants, he got only one of those right...

 

Damn... I wonder if he made the mod for that game, once i get a better pc id like to give it a look. I'm just happy someone's keeping my fav race mod alive...

 

There's no Avali mod yet. I found one that gives you avali portraits, but that wasn't Ryuujin nor is it anything but portraits (from what I can see)

Yeah, that one was me. And that's pretty much all it is: Buncha fan-art portraits (20 right now) and a new emblem that I'm too lazy to fix.
'Course if and when Ryuujin makes it harder, better, faster, and stronger, then that'll be the one to use. Mine's just kind of a fill in, y'know?

Stellaris is a fun RTS-type. Kinda wanna do ships for 'em, too, but I'm too lazy to learn how.

just to know since i'm back from a long hiatus of this game and the modding was way diferent back then....... do i need to download the original Avali and then this one or just this and i'm good to go?? ty in advance

 

We all are, mate, but 1.0 went live only an hour or two ago. The team may have been working with nightly and unstable, but I think they're still entitled to just a little bit of time to get things ironed out.

Just Triage will do, unless you want the assortment of Avali add-ons, which are seperate mods.
