the recipe is 6x graphene, 3x P-1 Hail and 1x refined rubium, which serves as energy source for the thrusters
as always, installations instructions inside
i might drop the rubium if you guys feel it's not worth it using a refined rubium on 3 pilums
i'm happy with the balancing and the recipe, but tell me what you think about the design
i just slightly modified the previous one
it's my first time doing something like this, so if you think it looks like shit just tell me so I know i have to improve (i might actually make a small visual change, but that'll be tomorrow, i'm going to bed now
the P-2 Hail is crafted in the avali workbench, and it's an upgrade of the previous tier
it's more lightweight, due to its graphene structure, and thanks to the micro thrusters that automatically activate in mid-air, the pilum travels faster, further, and penetrates deeper, thus causing more severe injuries when the shaft shatters
lore apart, here it is in game (the description is out-dated, it currently says micro thrusters instead of micro-engines)

 

Pilum needs to deal bleeding effect on any animal, NPC or player it hits. Should use the attack effect from the Avali weapons, and you can use the code from toxin/poision to create a bleeding effect!
Non-aerogel Avali weapons, T1 for example, should not have the Avali attack effect.

alright it was actually really easy to do, update to both pilums with on-hit effects incoming

for the tier 3 i have an idea but I'd like to know your opinion guys
you don't know the recipe right away, but rather you have to craft an item that on pick up would teach you how to craft them, and to craft said item you'd need an Avali Data Chit
after you craft it and learn the recipe you woul be able to craft as many P-3 Hail as you want

some of them are not necessary to replace, but i changed the filename of some files in the folders and it's easier like this

 

I'd look at the coding for the Portable Pixel Printer for this, see how it gives recipes and use that to give the P-3 recipe.

sadly no screenshots right now, but i've tested and it works
recipe is 3x impervium compound, 1000x pixels and 3x P-2 Hail
the P-X is the result of years of avali investigations on armor penetration
together with more powerful thrusters, the shaft is designed to expand upon penetration, and a micro aerogel nanite generator attached to the pole further increases the shaft size inside the target, making a wound so critical that if somewhat the prey survives the initial impact and shaft shatter, the wounds makes it bleed to death
the aerogel inside organic bodies forms a layer over the organic tissues, stopping regeneration

well the avali have always been hunting preys much bigger than themselves, so they need a bit of help on their side

as a note: i'm not quite sure if the balancing feels right, feel free to try it out and give feedback
feedback on design is greatly appreciated too
also, sadly i haven't been able to do the unlockable recipe yet, i have to give it a deeper look
so no need to include it in the mod yet @Fevix, i'll see if i can fix it before friday

just noticed something in your comment
T1 does have an aerogel shaft
it was said in the original description, and you need aerogel to craft it
i'll have to change the posion effect to bleeding, but I'll have to look deeper into this, I'll have to unpack the starbound assets

 

ok so i just finished an avali laser mining tool, but there is an inconsistency
i said that it uses an avali crystal as focus lense, but there are no avali crystal yet

right now the recipe is 20x graphene and 500 pixels, although i would like to add some sort of crystal to act as focusing lense, maybe avali glass
