You're the reason handheld bug zappers were invented.

I would have did it in silver, but there isn't any, so blue was the next in line.

    Hmm. Something occurred to me.

Ryuujin? Would Aerogel laced with the various materials found in Starbound be a practical thing? Say, could Avali technology lace it with a bit of Impervium for a bit of aerogel that's a bit more resistant to shattering?

No. Aerogel is similar to glass structurally. Imagine putting an impervium rod through a piece of glass. Striking a target with a sheet of glass-wrapped impervium would leave you with an impervium rod, and a pile of broken glass :p

    But tht's more effective.
Then you can beat the living shit outta your glass-covered target!

I was imagining the impervium sorta wound through the aerogel at molecular levels, but then again, this sort of stuff is outside my area of knowledge. I can see your point, though.

Ok wow. I left the thread for like 3-5 hours? I lost track of time. But only 4 pages since then?
    Holy crap it slowed down.
Lol, showed up at nearly the same time as Reks.
    Ugh. That sucks...
    Hope you feel better soon.

    Enough reason for some people
Some people ship people who don't even exist in the same universe...i think

Alright, I'm back with some more info. Upon loading 10.0 with the empty player and universe folders (first link), I made a new avali character and shut down the game. Then I load with 11.1 again and apparently it hasn't been recognizing the mod at all (second link).

You do realize that the big eyes in Anime is because that was brought in later on in Anime's history? Before Anime became big over in the western countries the characters in anime generally had smaller eyes. The bigger eye thing was later adapted to Anime so it would appeal to western cultures. From then on it has become mainstay in anime mostly and yeah what Ryu said about you watching the wrong type of anime genre. There is a LOT of anime out there not all of them live up to one another. Some are better others aren't. A lot of anime adaptations these days have roots in games, visual novels, (even some adult themed visual novels, take Demonbane for instance and Fate Stay Night), most animes have roots in Manga.

My only problem with anime is the pacing, a good way of putting it is that in western culture our storytelling revolves around the highpoints, the climax, the introduction, the resolution, it fights for your attention, while in eastern culture their storytelling is more about the journey, the adventure is still there, but they take the time to stop and smell the roses, and in my experience that leads to some odd pacing in anime, western cartoons usually follow the standard storytelling pattern in each episode, introduce the problem, characters work to solve it, eventually solve it, episode ends, while anime spreads that pattern over each season, possibly even the entire run of the show, and we wind up with entire episodes that while they may be visually striking and good for character development, from a plot standpoint they are almost pure filler, that just doesn't appeal to me.

That, and it's another form of shenanigans.

That and neither of us seem to be outright denying anything, but not confirming it either. In their heads, that's a cue to continue and as long as it continues to bug you (or you continue to show them so), it won't go away.

each to their own, it's hard to understand eastern culture and their way of thinking. I'm American but I get along much better in eastern cultures and the people there than I do with American culture. Reason why is I understand it and respect it a lot more I also grew up with anime, sadly it was crappy english dubs *shudders* I prefer to watch my anime unedited, no script re-writing period, english adaptations leave so much out of the original.
