Outdated Avali Race Mod 0.12.4

I updated it long ago by changing Furious to Enraged in the modinfo file, and it has never stopped working for me.

 

Fun fact: the game doesn't care about the version string any more.

I changed the text back when the version string still mattered. Even more reason for it not to be a problem.

 

I expected as much. It was more of a general statement than that.

 

Well, this is the .log with the simple extension + avali 11.1. Was hoping for success... On a side note, it did load considerably faster than with Kawa's mod. I didn't have a doubt with your mod Kawa [due to the fact it had 32 slots], but I'll admit I was hesitant to see how XGShadowstar's mod fared at first.

That same error. Gosh darn it. For all I know, the log is like a needle in a haystack- there's no knowing where the exact problem is. It could actually be an object bug or something to do with the player.config file, as RyuujinZERO stated earlier.

*steps up and flips desk over* Please tell me I don't have to wait until the next stable build update.

 

Have you tried uninstalling starbound and reinstalling it through steam, or getting steam to validate the game cache?

Well, the latter I don't think I'm going to attempt. The former option I haven't tried yet...

Here's a .log with the simple extension mod + Avali 11.1, but with my player folder from 10.0, along with a relatively new Universe folder. Again, there are items that cannot be recognized in my characters' inventory. Specifically, 'avaliplant2' and 'metalwork station.' Metalwork Station I know of, but avaliplant2 I don't.

Update: Here's a second .log file with 10.0 running on its merry way (second link). Runs fine, but with a few item errors. Something was changed between 10.0 and 11.0 that is preventing the game from running, and it appears to be related specifically with the character inventory, as is seen with the third .log file (third link). I removed the metalwork station, avali seeds, and avali crafting tables from my inventory- but it caught a new error for the Robotic Crafting Table, along with getting an error for the other character (which had the Avali seeds in their inventory).

 

It seems like all these errors are character related, yet creating a new, blank character doesn't solve them?

There's one thing I haven't tried: making a new character from a blank player folder, loading it once, and not putting anything into the inventory. Then updating to 11.1 and seeing if the issue is resolved.

Here's a .log file consisting of what happened after removing the robotic crafting table- it caused yet another item error for the Durasteel Bed (tier4bed). I think I know where it's going...

When I have some time later, I'll attempt that...

 

What I, personally liked about AoT was how well the screenplay and writing did at reflecting and examining abstract concepts like futility, the dual nature of fear yet nessecity (yet potential to be a complete waste executed poorly) of warfare, as well as a pessimistic analysis of the human condition and nature.. The titans also fall into uncanny valley making them a rather un-nerving enemy, typically haven their face frozen in just one emotion so you'll have a deformed naked human grinning manically or looking completely nonplussed while it casually tears peoples limbs off.

I think it gets a slightly bad rap because it is also popular amongst the young, gore loving demographic because it has both high action and vivid gore which appeals to kids, but there is also more subtle writing there.

I have always disliked anime, mostly because it's so expected. There is usually one handsome exposed-torso badass guy with a sword almost as big as him, females in school uniforms with eyes as big as a plate, and some silly gimmick.
Well I say "mostly", it's actually because of the KAWAII DESU AGU BOOBUFESTU~~

 

Yeah you've been watching the wrong series clearly ¬_¬

Ghost in the Shell and Psycho-pass are two that are both good in their own right, but importantly also relevant to the Avali since they examine similar subsets of technology, try having a look at those, you won't find many boobs, but a lot of awesome. oh, also Summer Wars is an excellent and relevant film too.
