Outdated Avali Race Mod 0.12.4

Awesome work! Going to point out now, the difference between the tilesets for each race is *primarily* in the way corners are done. If you took each corner block you placed after and replaced it with the #2 tileset, along with the ones directly next to it, it would probably flow a bit better with the other blocks, because #2 has sharp corners like a normal block.

 

Interesting... did you use the magnets from Starfoundry for the railgun?

edit:

the 3rd in the tileset has a curve in it, the 1st being the slanted and the second as you said is square.

 

I was gonna make a joke regarding xbawks (xbox) not being compatible with mac, but I've held my tongue until now.

It has yet to fail me so far. I don't know if it would be what's causing your issues, though.

 

I believe xbawks is the recommended character extender, but since you've tried just about everything else, trying another character extender couldn't hurt.

 

yes I did use the magnets, alternating positive and negative, with regular wall panels between them, and starfoundry piping for the barrel

Come to think of it, Kawa put out an update on xbawks extender recently because it was having issues with the unstable branch. Valiance, if you're using the unstable branch you're going to want to get the most up to date version of the mod, as that might be what's causing you issues.

 

So, on one hand, I like the look and shape of the assault helm. But on the other hand, I like being able to see my character's face, or at least their eyes.

A bit of quick sprite editing later, and this was the result.

It stopped recognizing "xbox", so I renamed the folder to "xbawks", matching the mod's actual name.

 

An hour or so of working and I've made myself my first house.

I was actually going to use that one instead. Never hurt to try.

I am running the Stable version of Enraged Koala, and I am using the 'Xbawks' version of Kawa's mod.

This is odd. Here's the Peglaci + Xbawks .log (first link), and Kemono + Xbawks .log (second link). If something is amiss, the only thing I can think of is the actual game code itself clashing with the Avali mod, or vice versa.

 

No errors worth a damn to see~

 

tileset 2 and 3, I also answered the question of engines in madtulip's mod thread for you engines, and are unlocked at tier 5

Well that gets your mod off the hook. Upon looking at the simple character extension mod, it appears to only be updated to furious koala, which makes me unsure whether to use it or not.
