Officially, no, their science is too hard for that. But for now they do when using their racial shields, since Ryuujin hasn't figured out exactly what sort of device would make sense with Avali lore.

yep... it's how I feel when I have to build a new ship lol, making the outline of the hull, making the decks inbetween that outline, filling in the walls, adding decorations and other such things, adding a fresh paint coat... yup...

I was messing around with the dye station, and I can't find how to dye aeroponics tubes and tapestry blocks black and white. All the other colors from Ryuujin's development screenshots are there, but I can't get those two. What am I missing? Should I craft the paint tool and use that instead of the dyeing console?

    Paint tool works. Nevermind.

    ....

Oh, and while investigating that problem, I also found this unimplemented art asset. Avali tier 1 pilum. (You're not hiding something from us, right, Ryuujin? ;))

It seems to be a throwing weapon. At least, real pilums were. The Romans were some of the biggest users of the pilum (that's why it's a Latin name). They made their pilums fairly heavy, with relatively soft, long iron points. The idea was that even if the enemy managed to block one with a shield, the pilum would punch through and the point would bend, preventing it from being removed or thrown back.

Imagining that with shattering aerogel, now... *glee*

I think those are the swords from Attack on Titan. I've never watched it, but I've seen artwork of their fancy swords with trailing cables and giant pack-sheaths of swords at both sides, like what Ralako's wearing.

I guess they break a lot?

Which is why they bring a lot of replacement blades. The blades are detachable, so when they become dulled or broken, the user just detaches them and attaches a new set from the sheathes.

They're like manual Aerogel blades, but with metal instead.
(and by that i mean you replace the blades often due to them breaking easily)

You know what... I wonder if it might be the character extender itself. Which character extension mod do you use, RyuujinZERO? I'll post .log files for the other mods not tried yet (Peglaci + Xbawks, Kemono + Xbawks) soon.

...I'll stick with my aerogel nano-forge bladehilts, thank you very much. :p

I've read a little about Attack on Titan, though I can't quite see what the attraction is. The setting's not bad, and the character tensions seem sound, but the story seemed... weird. About the time the review I was reading started mentioning people being able to turn into titans (or something like that?) was about the time it lost my interest. See, I've only seen a few stories where that sort of unexplained power/plot twist actually improves the story. I've seen even fewer that actually foreshadow it enough that once you see it you go, "Aaah! That makes sense!"

Ruined worlds? Awesome. Mysterious powerful monsters? Perfect. Humanity on its last legs? Sounds good to me. But if you're going to make the characters superhuman, that's the sort of thing that needs to be part of the premise, not a later development. Otherwise you run the risk of "leveling up" your characters just because you want to "increase the stakes" without actually, you know, making the fights more difficult and tense.

I think that's why a lot of television and anime series do it. Because once you've gone on long enough, you start to run out of ideas as to how to make the next fight interesting.
