Outdated Avali Race Mod 0.12.4

By that regard, since you can craft items which stabilize your temperature (right now you can only freeze, so the solution is, plop a campfire down and sit tight for a few seconds), projecting to a time when this is in the game, what are you thinking of in terms of portable items to help with temperature regulation? Those coolant suits and/or hardsuits you mentioned before? Or something placeable? Or... both?

 

Nope. Read "Codex preview: Nomads of the frozen desert" in the lore section of the first post for some interesting info regarding the temperatures the avali are used to.

Hmmmm I seen someone have more color choices for the body of the avalis, is there a mod somewhere I missed for this

 

naw, you just edit in the colours right into the mod.

edit: wait that didn't come out right... You edit the racial colours you can start with.

okay I think I managed to create a welding mask. The orange/yellow things are ear protector holders. Two straps for double security, bright colour to let other's know they can't hear properly.

Nah i am going to be testing MMO stuff this week; but there'll be a small update first to clear up some bugs and implement some minor tweaks.

I can't make a huge amount of progress anyway for a bit as starstructor needs some bugs fixed first before I can really do the avali settlements in earnest, and I need to concept some equipment before the next phase.

 

well, you dont really know for sure if the MMO comes out this week, for all we know it could potentially come out by the end of february, if youre talking about the "into the nexus" statement it might be by the end of the week, can be interpreted as a joke.

but hey, i might have missed some statement from some more official place.

 

nevermind! its starting today, they just released an announcement on twitter an hour ago! i am so exited!

 

My planet tent, I now realize is a lost cause, it took me at least 20000 coal to get enough of the pieces, I fear how much it may take for enough tiles...
