"Might as well find some sort of job." He said, sitting back up and piloting the ship down to Abraxis. He hummed a familiar tune from the game he played: 'dog'? Was it called? Or 'circles'? Whilst he entered the atmosphere, he pulled up a holographic tab on job options on Abraxis. Heck, even a part-time, or even a one-time job would do.

In the past, he had recently wiped whatever money he gained left over from scholarships and grants during his academic period on games, a ship, and food. Currently, his Mist library has taken the majority of money away from him.

 

Rin is sitting on a crate on the landing pad, watching ships go by.

 

A ship overhead slows down, and sets itself directly above the landing pad by about 20 feet "Hey! Is that landing pad occupied for anything?" The voice of a male human rang out, his ship just hovering about 20 feet from the pad.
In his mind, anywhere was a place to land, though that wasn't the case when landing on a planet. At least not normally.

Rin nods. "Feel free to land there!"

Hylan, Rura, and Midora return to Davin's office

Now that everyone is here.. I would like to introduce myself. I am Dav, owner of D.A.V.I.N. Corp and Devon Inc. Labs. My company was started by my late father Devon. Devon Inc. Labs used to be the building we used, but now it has become our labs. I have plans to expand my company in the future. It has recently become a corporation and we are now looking for talented individuals. We are hiring now. Any questions? If not, then I will get on with the mission details shortly..

Rin appears in a hologram, listening intently through his headset. "I'm in. I might be bringing one more possible member, so before briefing, could you wait a little? I'll be back inside shortly..."

"Alright! Thanks..." He lowered the ship in, landing safely upon the landing pad. The door opened and he jumped down. A human with brown hair, brown eyes, medium-light complexion, 6'2" in height, and lithe build. The armor he wore was a cheap exosuit made from 3d printed parts, clothing was a green jacket with a white and a black, protective rubber-silicon uniform worn under it all.
"I'm... looking for a job. Preferably in the field of mechanics and engineering?" He asked nervously, rubbing the back of his head with his right hand.

 

"Hmm... Follow me, I have an idea for you..." Rin motions for the man to follow, and takes him into an elevator.

 

He swallowed, noting his thirst. "Could use a water" hemumbled quietly to himself as he followed Rin. Stepping into the elevator, he stands to the back, keeping a respectful distance from Rin.

Rin activates the elevator, taking them to Davin's room. "The man you're about to meet will most likely give you a job... He's already employed me, so I have high hopes..." The door opens. "Ah! Here we are!" @L3W

 

"Ah, okay." The human nods and looks down a bit, looking at Rin's anatomy. "You're an... Oh? He was cut off by the opening of the door.

 

{I'm not sure about allowing mutants, most noticeable mutations are fatal to humans.}

 

I am trying to locate the docking bay, in hopes my ship is there.

 

Saul looks up from his work, nearby. "Oh, hey! Your ship is in hangar B3."

 

"thank you sir" makes me way to it and get on board my ship.
