Valve doesn't redirect traffic to an working server during server maintenance. You're out of it until they're done.

// Bee has three letters. A triangle has three sides. Bee has one syllable and bees have one stinger. The Illuminati triangle has one eye. Coincidence? I think not.

    Battle Bee = Illuminati.

// Also, now I recall one of the reasons why I departed from this long ago; can't keep up with all the posts.

    Operation Shadow Fall

    Mission specifications:

Four packs will perform night-time combat operations. They are expected to infiltrate a human outpost to retrieve tactical information. Each pack will work together towards the goal but will work independently. The packs will take the utmost care to incapacitate the defenders of the outpost, do not kill. All members will be armed with Blizzard raliguns with rubber tips. All members will also be given a type of armor that conceals the user from radar, sight, and IR.

    Note from an ADF Colonel:

The weapons you are given are not meant to kill them, we want no information that we were there. If the humans have told us anything it’s that rubber projectiles get people to run…… The armor you will be provided with is a trial-run version of an armor modification made by Talii, the creator of the armor will be on the mission with lead pack Alpha. If you need any help with repair or maintenance of the armor, see him. Good luck and good hunting.

    Personnel Logs:

0400, Eijumi, ADF Sentinel enroot to target, voice log: Well this will be an interesting mission, quote the Colonel, “…not meant to kill them, we want no information that we were there.” I wonder what information they want. The basic file won’t say much but we were told to download their entire data base… The entire thing. That will take a while to do considering the humans more rudimentary technology… I hope that doesn’t cause any problems… I hope Talii’s armor works well, I tested it myself so I shouldn’t be worried, the others may be…

2247, Eijumi, ADF Sentinel in orbit of target, voice log: We’re here, I’ve got everything ready. I’m still gonna bring my custom Firelance just in case… I don’t trust that idea “Don’t kill them” very much… Hey, better safe from sorry. Ooops, about to beam down, need to end this log…

2300, Eijumi, planet’s surface, voice log: All is going according to plan… the border guards were easily dispatched of, and no I didn’t kill them… Now we are to advance to the main computer core once we get inside, we should have a few minutes before those guards need to check in… time to act fast…

2310, Eijumi, U.S.C.M. Compound, voice log: well… pack gamma didn’t disable the security system… time to prepare for some resistance… I checked a terminal nearby and it said “Unknown intruders, prepare for anything, use deadly force”… too bad we can’t do the same… this mission would be a lot easier then…

2335, Eijumi, U.S.C.M. Compound, voice log: Something doesn’t seem quite right here, I mean we encountered some humans but of course they couldn’t see or detect us and were taken care of, they should wake up in around an hour, and be hurting really bad… I tied checking in with pack delta but there was no answer, as leader, I’ll go to their location and see what happened. It’s probably just some interference or some technical glitch…

2340, Eijumi, U.S.C.M. Compound, voice log: Shit, I knew something was wrong… the humans forced some sort of gas into the vents… All except one from pack delta was found KIA from asphyxiation in a hallway trying to hack into a terminal… The one that lived was unconscious, he sealed his armor just before the gas got to him… unfortunately his pack mates didn’t react as fast… I have ordered everyone else to seal their armor so that doesn’t happen again. I’m dragging the survivor back to my pack’s location for now until he wakes up… I still wonder why the humans set up a base on a planet with a methane atmosphere… I guess it keeps others away, but they were prepared for anything…

2400, Eijumi, U.S.C.M. Compound, voice log: This place is a maze… We’ve been walking around in circles for a while now and this is getting ridiculous. It’s been the same with packs beta and gamma. I want to just take out my Firelance and just blow down some walls, but that would blow our cover… time to reconfigure one of their consoles to figure this out…

2420, Eijumi, U.S.C.M. Compound, voice log: This is ridiculous, I’ve found where the computer core is supposed to be, but there seems to be several walls in the way…… *Explosion can be heard* There, That should do it… Now to get those files…

2436, Eijumi, U.S.C.M. Compound, Helmet video with audio: Shit, incoming! *a grenade explodes several feet from Eijumi causing his armor’s stealth mechanism to fail* Dammit! *Eijumi raises his Railgun and puts one round strait through the chest of the human who threw the grenade* There, that will take care of him. *Ryanu gets close to him* Sir! We need to get out of here! We’ve got the data! *Eijumi motions for her and the rest of his pack to get out of there* This is Eijumi calling beta and gamma packs, data retrieved, return to extraction point. Use any necessary force to get yourselves there! *Eijumi picks up the unconscious Avali next to him and begins running* *Video feed and audio cut*

0100, Eijumi, U.S.C.M. Compound, Helmet video with audio: Dammit! Can someone get rid of that asshole please?!?! *Camera pops over the cover Eijumi was behind to see the human sniper’s gun explode* Thanks! Now let’s move now! * begins running down the hallway to the now barricaded and sealed blast doors at the entrance* Get down! *Several humans with what appears to be machine guns open fire, gamma pack is cut down instantly* Really!?! *tosses a flash bang into the middle of the enemy group, and Eijumi activates a wrist-mounted flamethrower* Now, you die. Screw command, you killed my friends… *with the humans disoriented and now looking at Eijumi, He lets out the 40 foot flame on the group, instantly setting them on fire. He then pulls out the blizzard railpistol that he was given at the beginning of the mission and shoots every last human in the head* There, that’s over… *Camera flashes over to gamma pack slumped lifelessly on the ground* Dammit… *other members of the packs pick up the bodies* Ok, time to get out of here… *Eijumi pulls out his Firelance, loads a round, and fires it at the blast door leaving a 6 ft in diameter hole* Let’s Go! *Video feed and audio cut*

    Mission Report:

Mission was a success, tactical information was retrieved from the U.S.C.M. database and we have learned many things from it. The lives lost on this mission will not be forgotten, all present in the action will receive awards and the leader of the operation will be promoted.

    Final Log entry:

Eijumi, voice log: Ya, ya the mission was a success, but at what cost? We lost seven people out there today, and for what? Some military data? I know I’m being promoted but, just looking at the survivor from pack delta just makes me think. How is he gonna do? Will the military still need him? Will they just dump him because the rest of his pack is dead? Will he need treatment? These are just some of the thoughts I have. I took a look at some of the data we retrieved and found almost nothing of value. The only thing I did find that pertained to the situation was a quote from a very old human general named George S. Patton. “War is Hell” I couldn’t agree with him more…
