Shai's ears twitched as he heard the sound of small, pitter-pattering feet, which made him glance around the room. At first, he couldn't tell what made the noise.
Then he looked down.
"Oh, hello!" Shai said in Common, smiling down at the tiny Avali. "You're...quite small, aren't you?"

 

Kal doesn't seem bothered by the smell of ammonia. "You get used to that, too." He sits down near a few of the pillows, patiently waiting for the occupants of the ship to arrive.
