The soldier spins around, bringing up his rifle. His face is hidden behind his visor, so his expression is unreadable. "You are the dragon we saw ! Identificate yourself. RIGHT. FUCKING. NOW." The other gryphons kneels besides the unconscious Avali. "Colonel, he's cold." He takes out a compact heat pack.

calm your feathers will you please... i am just here to get the avali back safe and sound in an ammonia enviroment... its way too hot for her here...their body can't handle anything above -20"c but if you want an identification my name is King AgYolViing Karkarn. I am the Dragon god of chaos and change.... i don't remember gryphons being so hostile though... and last i checked i am the only dragon here in this universe... unless...

*she raises a claw to her chin and sighs*

Also why did you call me uninteligent? that was rather .... nasty for you to do... i rather not call you birdbrains ... it would be similar of an insult... also last i checked phosphorous was not used in flashbangs anymore... how far are you from modern culture!?

The gryphon lowers his rifle and relaxes while the other one puts his heat pack back as he heard about the Avali biology. Well, i found a rather depressing sight.

A mouse, in the road, covered in skidmarks...

STILL BREATHING.

I could only guess the level of suffering it was enduring as it stared at me, I wasn't sure what to do but I had to do something...

Do I leave it to suffer in the sun? Do I end it's suffering with a mercy killing?

I decided that it's fate wasn't mine to decide.


Therefore I picked it up and cupped it in my hands, then gently put it in the shady grass. It would be up to fate whether it lives or dies, but at least it could do so in peace.

the best reaction was to get the victim out of the ship... not to worry about the ship itself... its a good thing i got here first it seems .... may have accidentally burned the poor gal... if it were not for the plants telling me of you all i would have had to form another ethereal form to come and make sure this poor avali was safe.

Smallpaw difted slowly, drifted along the black seas of eternity. There was nothing. It was neither cold nor warm, there was no light to speak of, no sound, no feeling. He drifted...until his eyes snapped open. Smallpaw sucked in a quick gasp of air, and sat up. The pillows fell away from the pile, letting him actually sit up. Ugh...what happened? Smallpaw groaned, and rubbed the back of his head. What was that feeling in my arm? What happened? He looked down at his left arm, the one that felt as if it was being ripped apart. His clothing covered most of it, of course, but he sucked in a breath when he saw his hand.
It wasn't his hand. Small, leathery plates were upon the back of his hand. Where the pale, pale green plates did not cover, nearly midnight-black fur poked out. He rotated his hand, looking at it. When the light caught on some of the fur, it looked faintly green. He opened and closed his hand, flexing it. It still felt...natural. Completely so. Smallpaw's throat was dry, though. What had happened? Was this what the 'activation' was? He rubbed his face, slowly.
Smallpaw didn't even notice the tiny Avali playing with the fluff on the end of his tail.

*she squeaked out as she entered right as smallpaw woke up gasping for breath*

oh god... are you okay you left and i knew you were hiding something w.....wait are you okay i got some water for you ... what is with your left paw?!

 

"I-I am fine, do not worry." Smallpaw quickly stuck his hand into a pocket, hiding it from view. "Water would be good though, yes..."
