Clones do not live very long. The most advanced cloning technology today can only produce a body that works for 40 years. Past this point, the breakdown of bodily systems will prove indivertibly fatal. Due to this, one may need a chain of clones to "live" to the average lifespan.

When making clones, mysterious psychological problems can result if the clone is not within a week of the age when the original died. Solutions have arisen over the years to answer this:

• Natural aging. The body is simply kept in the tank untill it is ready. Unfortunately only works when the age is within clone lifespan.
• Hyperaging chemicals. These chemicals artificially accelerate aging. Unfortunately also only works within clone lifespan.
• Superaging chemicals. These toxic chemicals strangely accelerates aging without compromising actual clone age. Unfortunately these chemicals will shorten the clone lifespan to ten years due to their eventually fatal effects.

It is never recommend to have more than one clone at a time. The brain seems to try and resolve itself with the others, resulting in eventual fatality when the brain signals to assume heart beating is only being preformed in one of the clones.
