Run by TheFacelessOne We want to make a clan in which everyone is equal, none if these teams, or leaders or ranks. Aurora will be more of a clan-community. A clan is about a group of people who play together and -usually rank up- but in Aurora, we don't want people feeling that they're less important in the clan because they're just a recruit rank, or someone feeling like they have authority just because they're a higher rank. That can lead to fights, bullying and all sorts, and we want none of it.Our main goal is that the people we play with have fun, we can enjoy each others company and work together, whereas in other clans, you have leaders telling you what to do, and consequences for wanting to do what you want. We don't that happening here, all we want, is to have some fun and play Starbound. Aurora in short, is the word for the effect we all know as "The northern lights" scientifically named "Aurora Borealis". With the explanation over, Aurora will basically be a clan where people can set up their own projects inside of it, say we have an event, organised by a user to gather information on all types of penguin, or find a planet with certain features. We want the users to have control, all EGadd and I will do is organise the events, host servers and so on, we want the clan to have control of itself, a full democracy, without us deciding what you guys do. That being said, there will be a petition process to get events going, as we don't want 20 events running simultaneously, or getting over-run with events every day. So if you get X amount of votes, your event is posted for all the clan to see and join in on. Events are one thing, but if you personally want to organise a team in the clan to go explore a certain planet you find, get loot, log the environment and capture creatures, you can do that without the petition.
