A machine which can be used to create an atmosphere in some planets without one, but that could have one (so, you can't create an atmosphere in every single planet). it should be a very advanced tool, since it can make space suits be obsolete. Also, it may use some kind of material that, with some chemical reactions, create an insane amount of Oxygen, Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Water, etc.

Some of the things must have the planet could be:
    1- Warm temperature.
2- Mid gravity level (not too much, or too few)

A nuclear isotope generator and a fusor
Tons of energy from helium 3 isotope found on airless moons and planets in surface rocks. Protons fuse to make the component gasses of air. image.jpg
P.S. it's supposed to be up the other way.

Wait, are we even going to have space suits in this game?

Derp, you mean a terraformer? derp.

A terraformer also alters the surface of the planet.

I don't think this kind of thing is really necessary though. As far as we know, all planets we go to have a breathable atmosphere.

gravity is based on the mass/density of a planet, NOT its atmosphere

if you say this for me, i already know that. But a planet needs to have gravity to have an atmosphere. so, that was what i said. I said that the planet must have gravity, so you can use this AC.

And the density of the atmosphere is also based on whether the gravity of a planet can retain an atmosphere. :p

When in doubt, go play Spore and look at how that game deals with planet forming.
