Asteroid Field Question

Since there's asteroid field planet biomes now, were the low-hanging asteroids above planets removed?

I never really liked those to begin with since there's no good way to reach them without littering a planet with sky bridges like you're farming stars and sky islands on Terraria.

 

There are still Asteroids high up on Planets, not sure how common, but they do exist~

 

There are several techs that allow you to reach atmospheric asteroids without placing a single block. Be sure to take a heat source with you~

 

Alternative solution is to use certain 'flying' techs to reach the asteroids on a planet. And the bigger a planet is, the higher you have to go up to reach the asteroid level, but with a tiny planet it's not that hard to get up there with one of the techs.
