As I've played, I've come to wonder: Is Big Ape REALLY watching?

mabye....I hope he likes what he sees.

 

Big Ape is fake. That is why he is always behind a t.v. screen. He is an image used to hold power over the apes. Like in the movie "Equilibrium"
I have read all the journal entries and lore on most races in starbound. They seem to all be controlled by hidden hands, These hands belong to the truth behind the races. The only problem is that the hands belong to the developers as well, The story will only be uncovered by them.

Pretty sure the player is Big Ape. When the Apex discovered they were in a simulation their desire to advance was lost and fear and paranoia set in. The Apex never new that the player was human as they never see or interact with the player. They just naturally assumed that the player was an ape, and logically, that it was big.

 

As we should be. The last time I checked the galaxy would be a much better place if the alien savages had their populations kept in check by humanity.

Bird people whose females have breasts? That's some kind of horrific abomination right there, like a fishpig, or a spoon rake.

Forgive me for speaking my mind. Avian creatures should not have mammalian glands of any sort, period. I know they have to distinguish the male and female avians somehow for the game but goddamn are they creepy. And don't get me started on the Hyotl...

The game files have each race with their own ship storage files, suggesting the devs could change them to all be different, just fyi

Plus, it LOOKS like an Apex storage system.

 

I have a theory. A far as i can tell, the apex definitely took pity and helped the humans but what if big ape gave the order to betray them? There would be no harm to do that considering how weak the humans already were with that so called "Beast". I hear talk within the villages of a uprising. I have seen what is know as "Rebel Armor". Could this possibly be the equipment given to the soldiers in the rebellion? If there were to be a uprising, it would wean galactic civil war! Is it worth it? Anyway, i have a suspicion as to who the beast is. I traveled from planet to planet and i found demons! i found a destroyed village. I saw the monsters first hand. Could these be the creatures that ended earth? Could this be the key to finding the beast?

 

i dont know about you guys but i saw it pretty obvious that the "progenitors" for the avians and the race that helped uplift the florans were the novakids, at least before they perhaps became slightly lesser beings, look through those codex entries again they always reference heat or the sun or firey beings

In my headcanon Bigape and Kluex are the same person and made the glitch out of pure need of knowledge.

Bigape also is not an ape but the smartest novakid to live so far.
The reason it plays a god so many times is, it simply forgot the last time but still has the urge to be so.
Once a brutal dictator that forces a race (Apex), then a holy being that gives a race the abillity to live longer (Avian) and then a god in itself making a complete new system of basic life (Glitch).


At one point it forgot its own character to much and became a normal novakid again or maybe its on the next step.


Plot twist, it was the apex that crashed on the floran planet and got eaten by them.
