As I've played, I've come to wonder: Is Big Ape REALLY watching?

*He* has no interest in sharing with his associates, he only mentions Thornwing and Big Ape when attempting to find a human leader. Further, there is no alliance between Greenfinger and Big Ape, just common peace, it wouldn't be sensable for Greenfinger to try and make allies for Big Ape when the florans and apex hate each other. I believe Thornwing, Big Ape, and Greenfinger have a mutually peaceful relationship that each gives to, but still desire a chance to get an upperhand and take out the other two.

 

Hehe, my bad. I forgot that he's male.There's something about the name that instantly makes me think that I'm talking about a female.

Anyways, I kinda got the impression that the three, while not being chummy, will still work together and help the others, if it furthers their goals. If he wanted to be the only one to make use of the humans, why would he even tell the others about it?

 

They all use each other differently, and accept that in order to use the others, they need to contribute as well. But, surely there is a reason Big Ape wants to make sure Apex will be able to fight Florans, and Thornwing and his Ring of Thorns are more freelance as far as I can tell, since they are not with the majority of avians they are basically guns for hire used by Greenfinger and Bip Ape. Greenfinger doesn't seem to show much aggression towards Big Ape, but does seem to have an untouchable air about him behind his savage florans and unpredictable experiments.

As for telling the others, what I got from the codexes is that he has no intention of telling the other about his potential alliance with humanity, he simply wants to ask the others if they know of how to get in contact with any existing ambassador for humanity should one exist.

 

That's certainly a possible interpretation.

 

How has no one mentioned that when an Apex is revived they look human for a second?

 

Does anyone else find it funny that those tentacles are the exact same color as those found in tentacle biomes?

Apex are afraid of the Big ape Florans are cannibals, Avians sacrifice people to their god, and the glitch was "enslaved" by their own minds to work like bees.
Humans was hunted by a giant tentacle monster that is eating planets. This game is alot darker than people might think.

A place of enlightenment and peace then this monster arrived (or grew inside earth.)

Well, technically kluex IS a person (he is of flesh and blood, according to the lore, and is seen by some avians), but that's not entirely what i meant lol it was a bad "joke reference", since thornwing said "kluex save us" in front of big ape hehe.

btw: big ape challenges kluex to a "fight" in one of the codexes, forget precisely which one though lol, you'd have to read them .
