Modding Help Artist seeking talented coder for help and possibly partnership on projects

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I figure someone will either delete or move it if it's not. Sorry in advance!

To put it bluntly, I'm sick of failing. There is nothing more frustrating to me than finally getting all my sprites and animations and assets in order, only to spend the next several days unsuccessfully dicking about with programs and code that I barely understand beyond their most basic principles. Everything I manage to accomplish is only because of imitation, not true understanding, and implementing things more complex than changing values (or, god forbid, anything with LUA) is well beyond my grasp. Eventually I just burn out on the project entirely and call the whole thing a wash until I remember it later and repeat the cycle. I've put off looking for help for a long time, not out of pride, but because I didn't think it would be as complicated as it was and I really didn't feel like bothering anyone. But, it's gotten to the point where I realize that if I don't, I'm just going to be sitting on a pile of finished assets and concepts that are never going to get off the ground through my power alone.

So if you're a coder, and you're good at what you do, and this sounds like a fun or interesting proposition, send me a message! Maybe you have mods that you're trucking along with, but your project could use a pixel-artist, or you need someone to write those 200+ descriptions for your items and furniture. Let's work something out! I promise not to ask you for anything impossible.

 

If you are good with spriting, then perhaps offering up for skills for some requests? God knows I have things Id love to do but I am terrible with spriting. Most of my stuff I half-ass or sometimes outright rip from other sources and repurpose for my needs.

I am in the middle of a semi-large scale mod of creating everything for a new race.... but the race itself (They died out, but ruins remain kinda thing), and I am in need of assets.

 

That's exactly the type of proposition I was hoping for, actually! If it's assets you need, I'd be more than happy to oblige. Could you send me a message with more details?
