I was thinking that it would be enjoyable to play as an insect-like character. Their ship could be that of a hive structure or it could have bulky plating, possibly resembling a giant wood louse. Their villages/towns/nests could be found on Alien planets underground. your character would naturally be curious and unknowledgeable about the outside world due to the fact that the race is meek and rarely interacts with other species, let alone leaves the safety of their homes. They find the unknown frightening and tend to stray away from fights. Just an idea to ponder. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
