I Love collecting things in a game such as armor and weapons. Say you find an amazing piece of armor or that one weapon you just can't part with. I think it would be nice to be able to Craft a mannequin to display that set of armor you love so much or even craft a display case for that cool looking sword you found. It is a simple concept and could be executed very easily. To make the mannequin it could just require regular refined wood and for the display case, wood and maybe some glass. Just as you interact with any other object by pressing E. You could press E then a little menu shows up similar to the Armor slots in your inventory. With three slots one for head, chest, and legs to place your set of armor on your mannequin. As for the Weapon display, you could just be holding the weapon and press E on the display to place it. Again it is just an idea i like the thought of making an armory or showing off the weapons I have found to friends. Let me know what you guys think, I am quite new to the forums but i just had to get this idea out if it already hasn't been suggested. If it has been suggested before then credit to whoever suggested it.
I was expecting an item like this to exist in the game. I'm disappointed it doesn't. I really hate deleting armor that I worked so hard to craft just to save space, so I'm all for this. Perhaps it could be repositioned to match the stances adoptable by playable races, and maybe even hold other items, aside from weapons. Regardless of the age of the thread, it would be better to bump it than make a new one, right?
This is on the to-do list, but for now there is this mod as well as a few others that have your mannequins.
