Anything below 30$ and the game is mine on the first day it comes out.

If the price is above $30 but less than $300, you can always count on a steam sale to lower the price (up to 10% of the original price).

I can afford 200$ now, but that's kind of a high price... 20-50 is reasonable

yeah, I don't expect starbound to cost $300 dollars; but if for some silly reason starbound does cost that much, you can always count on steam to lower the price from $300 to $30 in their steam sale.

I would happily pay 20-40$ for Starbound assuming it follows the course that the developers seem to intend for it at the moment. I am a big fan of sandbox games in general, and I very much appreciate games that focus on originality and gameplay rather than fancy graphics.

I'll pay for it, I guess. Hope it'll cost less than 20$ - I have somewhat limited funds and horrible greed.

If we learned anything from minecraft, its
    A. NEVER hug a creeper
    and
    B. You don't need a super computers graphic card for a game to work for it to be good.

I couldn't agree more! I'm working with a business class laptop here, it's not designed to play super demanding graphical games. It runs Terraria and Minecraft just fine tho. And that is What I care about. The is getting easier to manage with time, but I would say I'd pay anywhere from 10-40 USD for the game, I would be willing to pay more I just doubt they would charge more than that they said they wanted to make it affordable to everyone.

I wouldn't pay more than $20 on this, in all likelihood. Though I may change my mind when I learn more about the game.

So cool that 20 dollars is 40 bucks for me...

Guess I'll pay anything until 60 bucks (30 dollars)

Absolutely! I have a decent computer, and I can run just about anything that I could want, but I keep coming back to Minecraft and Terraria.

  18. Habuza

somewhere in the 15$ to 30$ range I would pay if it's as detailed and polished as it sounds.

  19. Nate the Great

The developers want it to be available for everyone. Less than ten dollars sounds likely.

I'd easily throw down $20-$30. I was a huge fan of Terraria and this seems like a huge step in the evolution of that genre. If the developers can come through on their promises and release a polished game, I'll purchase Starbound on day-one!

However, if it is ONLY going to be sold through Steam, then I definitely won't be buying it (sadly). I'm crossing my fingers for a direct download...
