I think steam, although a good way to get cash starting out, shouldn't be the games only method of release. I don't want to have to get a steam account to play games (and dislike having to have an extra process running in the background). For me it takes the "indieness" (I know its not a word.) out of some games. And finally I dislike that steam is elitist, some great games aren't on steam because of their long screening/judgement process. I honestly think starbound would be better off getting the funds directly anyways.

If this game becomes anything near as good as Terraria is. yea, I'm going to play it for sure.
From what I've seen at this time (not a whole lot I must admit) I'd say around 18 Euro's will do nicely, maybe a bit less like 16.
(Better sales numbers equals more impressions through local communications. Free advertising. Always a good thing. And 15-20 Dollar is the sweet spot in sales pricing.)

I would definitely buy the game in a $15~20 price range.
We'll just have to see what they make it when released.

Hopefully it's not above $50 dollars, because then I'll have to discuss it with my soon-to-be wife. I shouldn't have agreed to that dang "above 50 dollars and we talk" clause.

I'd expect the price to be moderate. I mean, it's a side-scroller, we aren't talking fully rendered first 3D virtual landscapes with free motion here. I'd expect it to be in line with similar games like Minecraft and Terraria. ($20-ish.) The fact that it can be cooperative play, still, so can Minecraft, and still, it's a low resolution side-scroller. If it's $50-$60 like some are suggesting...I probably would wait for the game to mature and the price to come down.

I would pay them so much money that it would be equal to the amount of plank-times there has been in the universe * 100000000. In case you don't know, a plank time is = to one millionth, of a millionth, of a millionth, of a second.

You wanna go math, ok, lets go math. Since infinity times infinity is still infinity then all I have to do is use set theory to make two sets with equal infinity infinities. You are beaten. X3

I would pay arround a hundret and fifty euros, but I can only afford spending up to thirty, wich is a shame... :(
I hope it will cost arround 20, then I would be happy.
Oh, and if they take souls, I am ready to give mine, as long as I don't have t pay cash.;)

I would expect somewhere around 10 US dollars, but I would be willing to pay up to 25 for it. Anymore than that and I would be an incredibly unhappy camper.
