Alright, just throwing in my two cents here.
By the same logic your points have no merit, because they are mostly based on opinion. Now, I am not arguing against free speech, but bombarding the dev's with pointless questions that have already been answered doesn't have a merit. I don't think anyone here is arguing to shut down the FAQ sections, but using them for simply pointless questions isn't what they were intended for. Most things can be found out by looking at the list of announced game information. I think that's really what most people that argued that we were being greedy meant. Not that people were somehow being "bad" by asking questions, but that complaining, about getting no or slim info, isn't true, and is disrespectful to some very generous developers.

Alright, I've done this same song and dance before, so I'm going to spare everyone from the massive wall of text. Both sides need to chill the hell out. Not saying anything specifically against the OP, or anything against anyone else. But let's not dig a hole and turn it into a lake, you know what I'm saying?

1: "I want more screenshots/information:" It's not a bad thing to be excited. People are going to get excited. People want more information, I can understand it. I can also understand how some people might view it as disrespectful towards the developers. My issue here is....they're not really spamming the forums. They're probably not sending hateful messages to the devs, stalking them in real life (Some probably are.) Not threatening to hack the website or anything. In fact, some developers might consider this an actual compliment. People so entranced by their game they want information. I've not really seen a negative backlash from the devs, in response to more information. So my question is: If the devs are so tolerant (Or appearing so tolerant) why can't we be more tolerant?

The last paragraph of the OP, and the last line of it, however, I'm going to flat out disagree with. It's a sad day in hell when people aren't allowed to ask questions. I'm fairly sick of seeing "I'm sick of seeing _______" threads. People talking about how many threads they seen begging about Beta. Solution? Make an equally stupid amount of threads addressing the threads begging about beta. (Not saying specifically this thread. But the 50 others I've replied to saying the same exact thing.) What the hell does this even do? Also, last I checked, the public IRC wasn't a place where Developers could go to "Work harder." When one of them enter the IRC, I'm fairly sure they know what to expect. Sorry if I seem out of line, or as if I'm "Speaking for them." But come on. I'm fairly confident they know what to expect.

I'm going to take the last line of the OP, and change it to something I agree with.

I really think the community would be a better place if people were just a bit more patient WITH EACH OTHER whilst waiting for the game, and to just stop blowing things out of proportion.

This isn't a personal attack, this isn't anything against OP. I'm not blaming Shark. My point is simply this: Making a thread to address people asking the same questions that have been answered over and over again...but that thread ends up being the same thing that people have said over and over again. It's a bit humbling, isn't it?

TL;DR: Nobody needs to take up arms when someone asks for more information. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar. Be polite, address them nicely, help them out with questions if you can. It's HONESTLY a lot better than getting upset for no reason.

Don't let it get to you IceKing (Welcome aboard matey!).

If you like I could refer you to a thread you might like. You guys are awesome. it might be a little too "back patty" here and there but the thread was
fairly welcoming and fun to read.

Like I have said before I can see where both sides are coming from. The only real solution is to wait for the game to come out.
I am really excited about this game coming out. the more stuff I see and hear about it the more stoked I get for when it comes out.

Personally I started playing Terraria and Minecraft again to curb the wanderlust pangs. Does anyone ever get that when playing these games?
The sudden urge to just go anywhere else just to see what is over that there ridge in the distance?I get it all the time in Minecraft. Probably why most of my
projects are half finished and not nearly as awesome as other players.

Is Wanderlust a good game? I want to buy it but I don't know if it would be enjoyable.

Uhhh Wanderlust the emotion of needing to go somewhere else and have an adventure not the game. sry needed to clarify....

    on a side note
I tried laying wanderlust the game and it was alright until I got glitched and all my leveling and characters and profile for it got corrupted that kinda sucked.
    I did enjoy it though.
