Just because there will not be Armor Tiers for those materials doesn't mean they stop being useful materials at all.

Or it might be the "Bedrock block" of Starbound?
Utterly indestructible, used to keep people on track during pre-made mission or found deep inside objects like meteors that don't have a molten core.

Solarium: A very uncommon, yellow-gold in color ore found near locations that were populated by big, rich colonies.
Impervium: A truly rare element very few is known about. Ancient scrolls say this ore contains pure "Richfag Essence", which was the base of the whole universe's existence. Our scientists still have to figure out what this may possibly mean.

Yes, those are ores from the game.

Solar-ium: An ore that can only be found in small deposits underground on planets very close to the its sun.
Imperv-ium: An ultra-rare ore that only occurs in a tiny 1 block deposits on planets far from its sun. you can only mine it by digging around it and super-heating it
Hard-to-obtain-ium: An ore even rarer than said Impervium that can only be found in the central of a black-hole.

I still think Impervium should be Iridium.

    speaking of pre-made missions
I wonder if down the line player's might get tool's
to make those sometime in the future.

Well, time to act like a science nazi. I, sir, am dumbfounded, upon your belief, that any kind of solid ore could be found in a star, which is mostly energy. I can understand black dwarfs that are very old to contain ore,(so little chance) but if you explain that part of the statement, my science nazi personality may slumber.

I'm afraid i have to agree and thereby mean your specified personality will not disappear.

Eh, much worse. Guess what it is. Hint: It has something to do with me and science:rofl:

God please, not another army of nazi gravity-shifting narwhals.

My science nazi self is SOOOOO annoyed at that. You have any idea what a black hole is? It is a rift in spacetime. A singularity or a portal to another universe (You can't survive the trip, nor can you come out the other side). You would need a mass of negative matter the size of Jupiter, to hold the gravity apart. And even then, nothing except you being in a different universe is there.
I do believe that I am worse than a grammar nazi

Actually, yes. Mein army offe scientists weel rule ze forums! I will check out every suggestion, and come up with scientific reasons to prove that it is bull. My black hole comment from earlier proves the beggining of it all. The creator of this thread will have all the responsibility. HAHAHAHA

A game with monkeymen, Samurai Mudkips, Western gasbags, and kitty mechs, and you're worried about the physics of suns?

  18. GravityFlux

Yes. Since all of the above are actually possible, but sun ores are not. QED because we in real life have proved it.
Solarium will probably be a normal heat giving ore, consistent with the laws of thermodynamics

Ok, what if each block of solarium is a supercompressed sun?
