Jackson walks towards Silas. "Don't worry, I'm pretty sure this mud has healing properties so take this as a sign of good luck." Jackson said trying to make him a bit happier.
Silas just keeps muttering under his breath, saying something about a stupid crew. He pauses for a moment and turns around. 'Nobody make a sound. I think we are being followed by something.'
As Mikov wanders aimlessly through the woods, he hears something crashing throguh the foliage and say 'SssSSSHHHIIIGLUBBJNKJGNB.' "Hello? Is anyone there?" he calls out.
Aquari starts piling the scrap metal in the storage room in a corner that she cleared out. Her metal rod remains in her hands.
'That imbecile should draw them off of us for now, let's go!' Silas starts heading towards the ship faster than before, wary of any roots.
Mikov hears more thrashing around in the forest, accompanied by what sounds suspiciously like someone's voice. "Hello! I come in peace!" he yells, quietly setting his pistol to 'lethal.'
She nods and sets off back toward the ship. After a bit she turns to skeletor as she walks... "I'm wondering if we should run to lure out crocowolves so you can have some live target practice..."
Mikov curses his pistol for audibly beeping, blaming cheap manufacturers who know nothing about being stealthy.
Aquari, satisfied with the size of her pile, starts seeing which pieces of metal could go on the rod to extend its length, somewhat like a spear.
"Didn't know what else to call 'em... Half crocodile, half giant wolf, all predator... We've had encounters with them on a few occasions. I believe you've killed and skinned one at some point..."
Sheriff, though he heard voices through the ruins, and gunshots in the distance, was preoccupied with coughing his metaphorical lungs out. Disentegrated bits of brand flew from his face, covered in whisps of orange life-gas and tobacco. Shuddering with exhaustion and a small, hidden stab of fear, Sheriff spat again, cursing and propping himself against a ruined sheet of metal. Damning the mercenaries he came with, Sheriff started to move again with a grunt of pain, holding his side and walking with slow deliberation in the direction of the gunshot, through the ruins.
Having been preoccupied with his state of sickness, Sheriff had almost forgotten Glibber. Though the little man-thing was a bit annoying, it did gladden Sheriff to know that at least one of his men was still following the plan. Smiling slightly, Sheriff called to Glibber, "Take it easy, partner. They're 'round here somewhere."
Looks over at Sheriff. "I know....but they may be hiding......but they better not be....hiding makes me....hungry." People who hear that get the empression that Glipper is smiling evilly
Nettles lifted up his mask a little bit while still hiding his face. He sniffed the air a few times and said "Nettles smell people in ruins" He reequipped his glove and started walking off towards them. "you looking for big brains right? Maybe that them."
"Huh... That's odd... I knew they were rare on other planets, but never assumed them to be rare on this one... They kept popping out and attacking us every so often. Also, do you know what's up with all of these butterflies?"
They step through the forest into the clearing in which the ship rests. Silas puts his hands on his knees, slightly out of breath.
