Nettle looked over to Glipper and said "Nettles' ssskin make other feel burn, nettles get sssent away because he cause pain." He took of his glove and said "Human doctor once tell nettles his ssskin covered in tiiiiiny needles."
"Still I doubt he was rolling around in the mud for however long he's been here if not his whole life."
The "ball" is completely made of some kind of copper colored metal, it is also covered in extremely intricate carvings.
"Maybe it's some kind of key or control device? We should look for somewhere that this could fit." Hunter looks for a light source.
He compares these carvings to some of the more intricate runes found on the walls, looking for any patterns.
Sheriff emerged out of the foliage, noticing the ruins of a ship. Shouldering his rifle, he called back to the others, "Alright, spread out and search for 'em. Last I heard, we've got a few dead and possible wounded. Let's round 'em up and be back to the ship in time for supper." He continued into the remnants of the ship.
The markings on the metal sphere don't seem to match up with anything written on the walls. Fine then Mr.sudden-grammar-nazi...jeez. There are no lights whatsoever.
"I can't seem to find any lights, I guess I'll make a torch or something." Omgomgomg this is so cool I'm like Indiana Jones or whatever his name is.
Silas puts away the ball again, and explores the ruins, after pulling out a flashlight for himself and Hunter. He goes deeper into the heart of them, looking for anything resembling a cipher.
Jackson geared away from the group. He made sure to stay within yelling distance, like a child would do with his mother, but then it happened. He over looked it once but these were ruins. He must have lost track of time. He heard a noise, what sounding like brief talking. It was the two that left their group, but they were just a whisper, still, he knew it was them. He entered and touched the walls he also looked for traps that the others may have dodged, sadly, didn't find any. It was shaping up to being a boring retirement. He continued into the ruins until he saw what seemed to be a light. It was a flash light. He stayed back so as not to interfere but didn't hide so he didn't look threatening. Instead he gave a strange face full of curiosity and questions and shot it right towards the two explorers. Hopefully they would notice him.
'Whatever it is, it's old.' They get to the center of the ruins, some kind of broken dome. 'Look for an entrance.'
There appears to be an entrance between a couple of statues that seem to resemble some kind of strange masked alien.
Silas uneasy and lifts his revolver up and steps in, swallowed by the darkness. A beam of yellow light comes from his flash light, trailing over the runes on the walls and following where he looked. 'The craftsmanshift must've been amazing for this to still be standing.'
Jackson was almost covered in darkness. He noticed that the two friends were moving and that the light was starting diminish, he could either keep going a then be killed when caught or he could innocently make him self known. His mind was made. "Hello?" He shouted, as if he had just entered. "Is anyone here?" He choked out. The air in the ruins made his mouth draw. He hoped they would notice him and be alright that he showed up suddenly. Their once a childish ounce in him that screamed ADEVENTURE!!, but there was the adult ounce weighing out millions of possibilities due to his decisions. Who knows, maybe he'll get shot in the head for no reason... He feels like that had happened to him before but can't remember when.
Silas doesn't here the voice thanks to the acoustics in th ruins and goes to the altar, examining it, as well as the various objects.
Jackson gave up and proceeded towards them anyway and walked through the entrance. He was amazed by the layout of the ruins. His jaw practically touched the floor. He then noticed the altar but stayed away from it in fear of traps. He didn't care if they noticed him or not, this wasn't their adventure. It was his.
