Mikov does the same. "I wonder if that island is inhabited."

 

Vox pulled out some paper again.

I wonder what language they speak.

 

Aquari, who had stopped paddling with the others, pulls out the knife from her suitcase. "Let's hope that if anything is on that island, it'll not try to kill us."

 

Vox nods and pats his sword.

 

Mikov holds up his pistol, inspecting it. He leans over the edge and looks into the water.

 

Don't. You. Dare.

 

Mikov puts the gun away. He was wondering if he could catch any fish with it. He begins paddling again. "Not much further to the island from here."

 

Aquari starts paddling too.

 

A fish flies out of the water and hits Aquari in the face before flopping around in the raft.

 

"Woah!" Mikov grabs the fish. "Should...Should I kill it?"

 

Aquari falls back in surprise, yelling something in Hylotl. She quickly recovers and sits up again. "Looks like this planet wants to give me a heart attack..."

"Keep it alive but captive. If we need it for food, we won't want it rotting."

 

"Ok." Mikov slowly lowers it to the water. "Should I just hold on to it?"

 

"For now, unless we have a place to store it in." Aquari says as she turns to Keagan. "Do you think your bag can hold water?" she asks him.

 

"Yeah. This fish is pretty slippery."

 

"I think that this bag is water-proof for a reason. There's too much electrical stuff in there."

 

"Alright... Do you mind storing the fish in there?"

 

"Yes."

 

Aquari turns back to Mikov. "Sorry, looks like you'll have to hold the fish for now."

 

"Ok…"
Mikov looks at the fish, which is squirming a lot.

 

As the raft slowly drifts towards the island's shore, it becomes obvious that the island is covered in thick foliage, which will make navigation difficult.
