April Newspaper Delayed

Hey, any one else realize the delaying of the newspaper was an april fools joke and it will actually be out later in the month?

 

The only cure is starbound or patience

I say Tiy should have released starbound as a joke on april fools. and we got to see the start menu and everything...and when we created our character and clicked play, it was actually terraria. Just stuck you right into terraria.

 

Well, that wouldn't be nice at all! Don't give anyone that evil of a joke!

 

I'd probably end up hunting down the Starbound dev team and slap them silly with a dead penguin for a few hours if that happened.

 

The only thing that I'm a little mad about for this delay, is that they don't tell the community how long the delay is going to take. Another week? Another day? I would like to know if it's at least close to this week or something. But, I'm mostly excited because they wont list the "reasons." This was a quote from a thread like this one, "Molly has already said a few times that the issue is being delayed for "reasons". Topic locked." The only thing I'm worried about though is if they make me get this excited, then they release it and nothing really excited happened, and it really was just "reasons," nothing special.

 

I'm guessing it has to do with a certain button. Or perhaps they are trying to think of a new easter egg hunt.

 

I wonder what said certain "reasons" are.

That's exactly because it's a newsletter.

Who knows what might be in it. There might be detailed information about the preorder, dates and such!

 

Stop putting your hopes up, its a newsletter.

M'aiq has a point about not getting your hopes up, it's pretty unlikely they would put something about the beta or release in the newsletter. I also have a saying and it is "lower your expectations that way you won't get disappointed".

 

That's a little depressing... You made me sad. And who knows, maybe they will put the release date in there. We can at least hope for the best. Just not too strongly, and if it's not in there, oh well.

 

It's been a week

 

As I recall, it was stated that it was delayed "until next week" and as such, there's still until Friday (Sunday if you count the weekend) for them to publish the Newsletter. And again, as M'aiq says, it's just a newsletter not that it's a bad thing, the previous one was a great read and offered lots of new information regarding the game and it's development, we've already gotten the Roadmap (and Molly got cake) so there's no reason to be sad I'm sure it's going to be well worth the wait.
