For all of you who are using the super fishaxe:

It fires 100 times a second, deals 1 tile damage, and does so in a 7x7 block area.

That is 4900 calculations the server has to do and apply per second per person.

If you like the "no block drop" thing, then please consider increasing the fire time and tile damage.

Also, excessive turrets which are clearly abandoned cause lag, both in their animations and the items that they cause to be lying around. It's alpha, really - birds should not be that big a problem.

Sadly it is a "shared storage" meaning its there for people to take things from if they need. If you dont want things to get taken keep them in your home build or on your ship. If you need anything replaced however dansec please message me in game and ill try to help.

Why would I like to join:
I would like to try out joining the very first Starbound Server.
In singleplayer I've run through the whole tier system of armours, [sorry I don't know what else there is to do as well, I'm very new to the game], so I would like to experience how it is to play with friends as well. I've played other sandbox/mining games either such as Minecraft and Terraria.
In every game, I respect whatever people make or think, and I'm never going to touch that. This will mean that you can count on me that I will not grief or show disrespect to people.

A few updates:

We are currently looking to make another home planet in sector X. If any of you explorers have any suggestions please feel free to post them!

We have recently converted a prison in the Home sector into a pvp zone. Come test your skill in some intense combat against other members of the empire. The prison is located on the purple jungle planet in the same sector as home.

We now have a website! It is in the very early stages so please feel free to post suggestions. But anyone interested in joining should register on the site and fill out the application. Current members should also stop by and check it out!
