I think its pretty neat they created a wheel chair bound npc. Its not something you really often see in games or media I am guessing he will be one of many Apex based "Experimental" NpC's. Can't wait to see more.
Heh, that wheelchair monster (in alpha, at least) shoots electric shots that do 3-4 damage per hit. Only other experiments I have seen looks like an Apex with a slightly larger head and a MUCH larger eye. That one one-shots me in full racial. Be very careful of these things, they don't like you (or anyone, to tell the truth).
Those are Apex Mutants, failed experiments. They're kind of like the equivalent of a zombie in that they move slowly but deal enormous damage.
Back in .. indignant koala, i think, I encountered one of these immediately after unlocking the schematic to make the brain extractor for the first time. I really thought it was some sort of sign.
Ugh, I captured three 'brutes' and put them in my testing chamber. I was so happy, then Steam uninstalled my entire library alongside all my data in the games.
